The mighty Lucasi

Well it happened a few weeks ago! I was down in Denver at Felts and got a chance to hang with Measureman and a few of his buddies. I was playing poorly and embarassed about my game. Mostly bummed because I was coming of of one of the best months I have ever played. I was looking forward to playing Bruce because I had just boasted to him through a PM how good I had been "hittin em". Of course all good things must end and I picked that day to crash:embarrassed2:.

As the day progressed Bruce caught me eye-ballen his cue. He would disapear outside now and then (not sure what he would do:groucho:) and he would leave the cue. The last time he walked outside he told me to give his Lucasi a test drive and I politly said no thanks.

Once the door had closed behind him I looked around the room to make sure nobody was watching me and low and behold everyone was watching me:rolleyes:.
They ALL were looking at the Lucasi and then back at me and nodding, sorta like the guys were telling me to try it. Well try it I did and let me tell you I have not drained balls like that since my college days:D

It was a good day even though I had not played that bad in a very long time. I will be back and avenge my loss but the Mighty Lucasi is just what it is touted to be. One hell of a cue!

Your welcome. Looking forward to my next trip down the hill.

Who paid for the water?

The mountains had just got over another late spring blizzard and I was working all night before the Denver trip. No water just coffee:p

Not bad for an electronic store import, with a shaft tuned up by these best team in the business, and a wrap by Chris Byrne.
Bruce stood in Chris's shop and made him do the wrap a certain way.
The cue is like a ****ing Chinese hot rod.
Complete with a ferrule made from the finest melamine money can buy, and a test drive of every tip there is.
Any cue would hit good with that much customizing.

The Lucasi HAD a melamine ferrule on it... remember he left it alone with me several times and CA glue sets fast:eek:

I think your thinking of the Pec. Shoot me a call when you get back. You may be on a flight with my oldest boy he is also returning from a trip studying abroad.

Very good photos of you guys.
I was just wondering if perhaps your game was normal and Measureman was playing a little better! Just a small thought! Or maybe that cue has an automatic button on it?
Good post. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

My game was not normal but excuses are for losers:wink: Bruce plays good and I can run with him on a good day but I can't plan good days. Practicing at home and playing good does not = playing good at a pool room. Measureman is steady and fun to hang out with, I only wish we could get cuesblues to show up with a bag of his amazing shooten sticks:grin-square:

It was the Pechauer you sent. A nice gesture by a good guy.

I like to think of it as a Chinese Szamboti
The nice part about standing there while Chris wrapped it is I got him to press it just the way I like it. Not smooth as silk but with a little texture.

Offer to buy him a couple Jack and Cokes and that might happen. It's like catnip to a cat.
