The New AZ Billiards version 10.0

Panjo search function

Can someone just tell me how to do a search on Panjo outside of AZ? I see 3 cues and a bazillion customized cueball shifter knobs regardless of how I search.

might be just me

but i could not enter ' free shipping ' in the amount section, and i wanted to post a cue for $400.00 it came to a total of $411.00

but that was my first try i'll get it figured out.

VBulletin?

My AZB forums is coming up in a VBulletin format. Anyone else have this. I see no Itrader in this format. My old computer comes up in the old/regular format, just to add to the confusion. Can anyone help?

Are we discussing the Panjo marketplace or the forums themselves?

Unbundling existing functionality has always been something that I am 100% against. I would rather look to add more features for gold members than take away existing content.

The new Forum gets an A for effort and a D for actuality........the Wtd For Sale Section is "Horrible".......The other Sections also suffer the sate fate as the Wtd For Sale which is basically now resembles a giant Excel spreadsheet of 6 columns with the middle column widened and text is used instead of columns of numbers.......it's absolutely terrible.

Look, I've been a strong advocate of Gold Membership and actually was the person that coined the expression "Less than 10 cents a Day.".....but I'm probably going to start keeping the dimes in my pocket come renewal time. Perhaps there'll be some monetary reason to remain a Gold Member because different features or services will start being unbundled and I see that coming. But the effort that went into the design of the Wtd For Sale Section is undoubtedly well intended but the people don't know a thing about page layout with color informational distinction for headings, originator, etc. and the font and text and background colors are atrocious and the page actually is annoying to read......yes, annoying. .....and that's why I don't like this joint anymore.

And yes, I concur.... then I don't have to come here....I completely concur.....but I have to look for a monster cue, I also want to show off my cues being built, see what others have underway, etc. I am not implying the Forum doesn't have some benefits but the experience is not as appealing as before. If someone started an alternative site, I'd be quick to join even on a fee paid basis....say $5.00/mth......that's $50 per annum......how many members would it take before another site was viable?

Yeah, the new Forum looks more like it was designed by someone that doesn't use it practically speaking, even though I know that's not true but it looks that way to me....it gets a D grade....this grade would definitely be lower but I'm still looking for another cue right now and ergo, the Forum is akin to a necessary evil of sorts, i.e., no options.

Scroll to the bottom left corner and change the drop down box. That will change the look and feel of the forums.

I believe AZB should benefit from the Wanted/For Sale..
They have provided the best place in the world to Buy, Sell, or Trade for Billiard related products..

Here's a few thoughts

Go back to the original format with all threads posted in Wanted/For Sale..

3 threads per member in the Wanted/For Sale at one time.
Lets face it we need threads to keep page 1 moving..
I understand we need to limit the amount of threads posted by each member, but limiting 1 thread per member will create the slows.. This area of the forum needs action to be successful..

Gold Members post free of charge..
Gold members can post a 4th thread maximum for a fee. (just a thought to create additional income for the forum)

Silver Members, and below may post 1 thread a year in the Wanted/For Sale free of charge (if this is possible)..
All additional posts by a Silver Member, or below pay a fee for each listing with a maximum of 2 threads current at any one time.

48 hour bump rule for the OP..
If a member other than the OP makes a comment within the 48 hour time frame it's no big deal.. IMO

Keep in mind a forums success is based off of participation.. Again the Wanted/For Sale area of the forum needs action to keep members interested.. Interest will obviously keep members online longer..

Here's a few additional ideas..

Possibly add a Platinum Membership for individuals that have, or advertise an alternative place to purchase billiard related products (Facebook pages, websites, Your business, etc.).

A new member may start a thread in the Wanted/For Sale section after 90-120 days..

Just a few ideas..

OK. I'm probably showing my ignorance here, but I just found the "Classifieds" tab here on AZ that takes you to the Panjo Marketplace today. After finding it. it makes things a little easier to navigate through, etc.
