I think a list should be drawn up of people who pull moves on people during matches in tournaments, so we can get rid of these people out of this sport and make the game, a more honest game.


When people blatantly pull a move on someone, in my eyes is the lowest of the low and blatant CHEATING. The sport doesnt need it, if it's too move on and get some recognition. You would never see that in golf. These people need to be warned, and then banned.

Naming no names but what the guy done against me in Reno was a disgrace and he should be warned and banned if doing it again. At least 15 people have came up and said he is a cheat and does it all the time to get an edge, people like him should be thrown out for the good of pool or it will put new players off from ever playing the game serious, when you have to put up with idiots like that.
 
It's become the way of the world in all sports. Bring the opponent down to their level instead of raising up their game. What happened so we can all rant together? ;) :D

We should name names and take a vote on it. Just like a poll, AZ members get one vote. If your name is on the list for a possible BS move during a match, you get your day in court...the AZB court...no matter what your playing status. This will make it official.:grin:

Most of us were neither there nor saw what happened on a live stream. If you would, please elaborate on the details, without naming names of course. Maybe to many, what happened in your match would not even constitute a "move". But, how can we know without the details?

IMO, I believe that many players in pool tornaments (or leagues) get away with WAY more than they should. I've seen Earl do things to players/fans that if it had of been me he did that to, I would have asked him to settle it outside right then and there. There are persons on this website that get into heated discussions that say things that should have gotten them an immediate ban, but nothing ever happens to them either, and because of it they continue doing it.

I deal with a FEW people like that on a regular basis. Headphones help me with the verbal sharks, As far as moving around me, It is not happening.
I will ask 1 time. Then I am getting the tournament director to ask.
I am not dealing with that BS
 
I agree. People that cheat, pull moves and try to distract you when you're shooting are pathetic. But I think you have the wrong definition of the word nit. A nit is not someone who pulls moves etc. A nit is someone who matches up real good (always the favorite). A nit doesn't like gambling. A nit is very tight with his money in all areas.

We have referees and officials.
Can't stop everything but we try.

I agree it is total BS that someone even has to address this issue while playing.
Years ago (at SBE) I was playing a kid around 20-25 or so. Real nice at the start. He misses a key shot and starts making noises.

After a couple more things I just could not get it off my mind. I did nothing - because I really try to be non confrontational while playing. But I should have gotten an official.

The guy had just gotten out of line, a lot.

Bottom line- I got aggravated instead of determined to win.
He beat me - but I vowed that next time I am going to get an official, or just not come back to the table for 5 minutes or so.

Having to take any of ths type of action is wrong- and if one of our events, the offending party will be watched.

I do not have any idea what lee Brett is talking about - but he should have excused himself and gotten an official. We really do try to maintain our guidelines. Bill Stock was on site and it would have been resolved.

Over the years I've noticed a lot more bettors and a lot less gamblers. The bettors don't just want the nuts, but the nuts, with a padlock, in a bag and topped with a bow tie. These types take all the fun out of gambling and were the reason I quit gambling at pool years and years ago.

I just recently started gambling again and realized just how fun it is. I am also starting to run into the bettors, but I'm not going to let them ruin it for me this time.

i tried to move the magic rack which was over the 5 and 9 ball, when trying to lift it over the 9 ball, the 5 moves no more than a quarter of an inch, he then starts shouting woah what you doing, so i explain im trying to move the magic rack as it shouldnt be on the table, i then say i'll move it back, and move it back, he now goes ballistic and says thats a foul and now wants a foul, saying he should have the option to move it back or not, he gets the tournament director over, so i explain to him. i then give the guy the option to move it where he thought it was but he is now having none of this and wants a foul.. the td wont give him a foul as its not a foul. so i call him a cheat for trying to get a foul as the 5,9 is lined up straight in the other pocket, i then pick the cueball up and roll it and say oh i fouled the cueball here you go play the 5,9 combo.. he now starts saying i should win the match, he storms off kicking off to the desk, the td then puts him on the clock and tell him he is out of order for what he is doing and trying to do to me, and tells him exactly what he thinks of the guy trying it and says your trying to cause lee to quit from all his kicking off and to upset me, he refuses to come back to the table after i push the 5,9 combo with my hand. so i unscrew my cue and say he can have the game if he wants to win like that then let him, as in my eyes he is a disgrace to this game. I told him you would never see that in snooker abd his reply is if you dont like it then go back to playing snooker as if its ok to do what he done.

I gave the guy every out and he wanted more, funny how maybe more than 15 people said he does bs like this all the time.

his was a complete and utter imbescile, cant win by playing fair and square he has to pull bs all the time, no place in the game for people like him.
