I worked with Pat O'Donnel this past Monday. We set-up a re-furbished GC3. We spec them from the ground up. Anyway, John Palmer was on site and gave a demonstration of his new slate dolly. This thing is hard to believe, John has really done his homework. I wish I had pictures to show. This dolly is small and ergonomic. The slate are easy to load and unbelievably easy to move. The slates ride in such a balanced position a teenage boy could probably take 9 footers down the stairs. The dolly attaches to the slate! No more trying to hold the dolly still and manhandling the slate. Set-up is fast and safe. Safe for the mechanic, slate, floors and stairs. I put in my order, the dolly CAN'T GET HERE FAST ENOUGH! No pressure John! I just ordered on Friday. This is one of the neatest, most ingenious tools I have seen produced for our industry. As I wrote that last sentence I realized it probably has many possible uses for drywall, carpentry and so on. If you get the chance to talk to John check it out. I will post pic's of my dolly when it arrives, if John give me permission.
