The only guy to be allowe free entry into the world pool championships

At the end of the day the Prince fits right in with most every other pool player. He is a NIT. Proportionally he is probably the biggest nit in pool, though.

Is there any footage of Prince playing?
I find it very hard to believe that a guy who rarely runs out (or so I've heard) can win 5 racks from Bustamante, let alone actually beat Pena in a race to 8.

If Prince isn't the type who could beat let's say 9ball ghost, I can't see him taking a set off a Filipino pro player. Correct me if I'm wrong.

if you bother to read up on the guy, it is his father that has and controls the money. I think, sonny boy, is on an allowance of some kind.

Yeah, like a couple of million $ every other day...

Back to the thread:

So, it seems if you want to play in these big events you have three choices:

1) Practice and get better.
2) Be a prince Billionaire
or
3) Practice and get better.

I think most of us would choose 2 if we could, but 1 & 3 are probably more likely.

Well then, OOOOPS. My bad.

My only leg to stand is is still......

Let the Prince play. Heck, what better promotion for our sport could you want then to have real ROYALTY participating in our sport on a World stage !

Mj :D

I hope you will still have that same positive thinking once you've learned the news that the Prince paid off some pros just to let him win a few matches. "BUYING OFF MATCHES", what a great way to promote pool !

it is called PAY-OFF ! PENA had to play like a D player inorder to lose to the prince.

All i can say is the first time i saw him on the WPC was 3 years ago.

In the first rack he broke from the middle of the table (which was really strange as everyone was breaking from the side to make a guaranteed corner ball) and he made a golden break..............then he started jumping around in happiness.

Remember this was the first rack of the game!!!!!!! Complete Retard.

He lost the game after not winning a single rack after. Embarassing.

That shows the level of game he has, PENA must have dumped.

If anyone has any video footage it'll confirm everything.

Standard Hustle

lets face it Pool is just 'hustlin' the Prince...

maybe django is setting the hook ?

or maybe they want him to play, in hopes that one day he'll do some contribution to the sport?

perhaps pena is looking for a road partner/stake horse that he can dump on. lol just a joke too

but whatever it is... im sure the ppl in charge know what they are doing and so do the players. so lets just leave the Prince to the Sharks and see how far his "royalty" extends when they're done with him.

if he's gonna contribute the let the promoters court him

if he thinks he can hang then just let him get "hung"

The question is after 3 years of the promoters courting him trying to get a buck off him, he has not once financially contributed to the game.

The prize pool has not increased that much since he has entered the sport.

The guy is a loser in my books..........does not pay entry fee...............embarasses himself on national television around the world............. pays pro player $200 for a game when he is a billionaire............. and finally can't play pool in the first place........... that equates to a proper cheap retarded wanabe.

Find another sport to play and abuse.

OK Guys, here are some facts of the matter at hand.

Pena is a 2nd-tier. a second-tier can have a bad day, but his skill level won't go down below B level. he could still play shortstop speed in a bad day. meaning, he will still be able to pull off a convincing win against a B player, and much more to a D player (which is the Prince's level of play).

The Prince plays not to promote pool. he is simply there to play for his own personal satisfaction (call it royalty's right to everything that money can buy, which makes him an anal individual). anyone who thinks that the Prince play for Pool Promotion is an anal-lover of the prince or is fooled to believe that the prince is there to promote pool, BIG LIE !

Pena's lose to the Prince created much controversy, most especially coming from the audience who were there who witness the whole damn thing. I got the news from a source who sent me a message via text that Pena played worse than a cowdung and it was very very unusual to lose in such a very unproffessional and novice or very very lousy manner. Pena received some fire and some criticism from the audience, including from my source. murmurs spread about some pay-offs. the next thing you know, Bustamante played quite horrible as well against the Prince (well not as bad as Jherome did but quite bad considering him a Pro Player). WoW, the Prince must be the Pinoy's Krytonite, lol.

Lastly, the Prince's other opponents (not Pinoys) comments about him, "he shouldn't be here" and "He should learn how to play pool first". it is pretty clear and obvious what those other Pro players were trying to say.

Ok, let him play in pool events as his country's representative (eventhough he may not be his country's best player). but destroying the sport's credibility by buying off matches is an insult and shows lack of respect to the sport itself. We don't need this kind travesty where corruption is finding it's way in the World Pool Competition. it's not even half comparable to sandbaggers in the APA!

next time, I would ask my source to film the Prince's match. for the benefit of those who want to see how really good the Prince is.

This issue should be discussed on run out radio, because its a disgrace..............

I knew Pena dumped and his idiot friend Roy Stefeson just talked crap about how good the prince plays pool. Get your facts right before you talk.

We have'nt heard from the pro players as well like John Schmidt and others who have seen the prince play on frequent occasions........there responses would be appreciated.

The whole pool world should know about this and what is going on......it makes me sick.

This idiot prince is playing in the world 8 ball championships in the UAE, lets see how many games he wins........none............except if he's paid some player off.........

Sweet! Eightball is actually his best game. I really think he has a great chance of snapping it off!:p
Seriously, it is kind of crazy when the 2007 Women's World Champion didn't even qualify to play in 2008, but the Prince gets to play in the last few World Championships.

If the woman's world champion of last can't even get a spot in this year championship and this retard prince gets a free spot on the male side...........its a disgrace.

Where is Roy Steffeson reply?, that idiot must be licking both Pena's and Prince Billah's arses. Does it taste good??

Somebody needs to teach you a little forum etiquette. I do not care for the tone of some of your posts.

Please feel free to read the rules of AzBilliards Discussion Forum which is a sticky thread. :)

I do not interpret the responses to your posts warranting you to use such vulgar descriptive language. :(

Why the prince annoys you so much is curious to me. If a promoter wants to invite Baby Huey to compete in an event that the promoter is sponsoring with his own funds, then let Baby Huey play. He could invite Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse, too. If it weren't for the promoter, there would be no tournament for the rest of the pro players.
