It seems to me, the powers that be on this forum are NOT interested in the advancement of 3 Cushion in this country.

The 3 Cushion community is extremely small in comparison to pool. I try my best to do my part by introducing new and mostly affordable equipment and my own instructional material though this forum, in hopes to have our numbers grow in our GREAT sport.

By selling tables and other items related to 3 cushion in OUR forum,(Carom) this gives many players and owners of billiard rooms a chance to test the waters of 3 cushion. By getting the game to as many avenues that are possible, we have a chance to increase our numbers.

Most of the 3 cushion players in this country visit this site primarily for all sorts of info on our sport in the USA. We have to develop the game from within, not what's going on across the pond.

On a personal note, I feel I've been singled out on this forum by letting members know what's available regarding items specifically related to 3 cushion for sale. On a regular basis my posts are DELETED or MOVED to the W/S forum, but I don't see other's post removed!

I started a poll to see if the Carom members would like OUR OWN W/S section, as of today, 72% are in favor of OUR OWN W/S section in the Carom forum.

If anyone hear thinks I make a living by selling 3 cushion equipment and instructional material just from this site, they can take it over from me!

I'm NOT crying because my posts are gone and others are NOT, I'm just stating a FACT!

I sent several PM's to a certain moderator on the forum, expressing my thoughts on wanting to help promote the game and having OUR OWN W/S section. It fell on deaf ears. in fact the gentleman suggested, "If you want to help promote the game so much, why don't you give your books and DVD's away!" I replied to this fella, "For every book/DVD I give way will you match it?" I did NOT receive a reply.

This is an OPEN forum for ALL to voice their views, I know there are certain rules to follow. Since my many PM's with that moderator, I have NOT directly posted a FOR SALE post in the Carom section, and still my posts were DELETED today!

Maybe you should consider the possibility that no-one here is interested in your silly posters and crumby books and DVDs. The only thing I see that you are interested in is Billy Smith. I agree with the moderator: give the crap away!

As for your poll, you have 19 votes out of 429 views. Doesn't that tell you something?

BTW. about my books and DVD's, 3,764 and counting and in 15 countries. When it hits 4,000 it's a, "Runaway Best Seller" in the pool and billiard genre!

For sale items will not be cross posted or posted period in this forum.

I just moved to NC from NY where there are a lot of 3 cushion players and a lot of pool halls with 3 cushion tables, however not too many people know about this forums, I didn't know about it until I started looking for a place to play 3 cushions in Charlotte which by the way there is not even one pool hall with a 3 cushion table in it, and is not because people don't want to play or don't know the game, some owners don't even know where to get a table, i spoke to a manager and they say they are willing to invest in a professional table if they can find one, The name of the place is 150 n Out, Mooresville, NC. Tel 704-6605363, Maybe you can help them find one. Thank you so Much.

Juan; Thanks for YOUR concern and efforts to try and promote 3 Cushion billiards in areas which have little or no equipment. By doing so, you have at least given the GREAT game a chance to have a NEW beginning in that area. I will certainly give that room a call!

You have been warned several times now.

Your last post was not on topic, it was merely an ad for you sales items telling people to go to the sales area.
 
I do not know Mr. Smith or any others that frequent the 3C area (that I know of).
I would like to see a separate area for 3C Wanted/For Sale. I hate to try and go through 5 or 6 pages in the Wanted/FS forum to look for a 3C items.
I know, somebody will say "then why don't snooker, cases, tables, cues, etc. each get their own specific wanted/fs forum.
Granted, there may not be a lot of 3C items posted but it would make it a lot easier to find them.
 
I haven't really followed all the arguing between bill and yourself. Bill can be a bit gruff, but that's just bill. However, I think that his idea is a good one. Either make a new section, or just stop hassling the few folks that post two or three ads a month in the carom section, (or less). This is small percentage of items and isn't hurting anyone personally, and certainly doesn't hurt the forum in general. The pool guys don't care because they never look at our section on the forums, anyway. You can get upset and spout the "rules" all you want. However, in the end, it is, "just a forum", and you start to alienate your users, by being such a stickler. Relax a little and have a beer or something to calm your nerves....then sit back and think....have the hundreds of ads, that have already been posted over the years in the carom section, EVER caused an issue with ANYONE? Has anyone, besides yourself, ever complained to any moderator or member about the handfull of items posted in that section? I'm going to guess that the answer is no. Because very few items, don't detract from the caroms forum, they actually enhance it. Just my two cents.
