I sent out SOLOs to several AZers and I will take bad feedback along with the good...

Hit me with your feedback.... I think after about 20 racks they rack as easy as any template once you know you have to "push" forward and once you push the racks are as good as they can get....

Blue Side UP!!!!! I didn't stamp any of the demos and have already had a least 2 people ask =) The blue side mimics the friction of the cloth so the balls release properly when you break =D

Aloha The Renfro and thanks for letting me try one of these out. I've only tried the larger SOLO rack and it keeps the balls together easier than the Magic Rack. The balls always broke well coming out of the rack and I rarely left a ball inside the rack.

The material is different than the Magic Rack. More of a fiber-type material than plastic like the Magic Rack. It adheres to the table pretty well and it never slid even one time during any of the breaks. I did notice a couple of ball "skids" during the times I left it on the table and a ball came across it at an angle that wasn't directly across the line of the material.

Overall, it works DAMN GOOD and I will play more with it and see how other people like it.
 
I will be giving my opinion very soon. I'm going to do a comparison in the 9 ball rack.
 
Good stuff Ren and Stimpy. Coming from Joe, that has to make a guy feel pretty good about himself.

You say that these can be rolled up and put in a case eh?

We have so many whimpy plastic racks in our bars that once you push the balls forward to make a hopefully tight rack, the rack gives way at the top and the balls separate.

We play rack our own now in League so something that has a tight rack, other than the waitresses has to be worth a try out.
 
I posted my tests on pms to chris and if he likes he can copy and post those here. overall I think he has a winner as his seem to "load" faster than the competition!

just got mine today
will try it out tonight
could you explain how it can be transported
ie if rolled it will probably "crush" some in the case
so do you have to keep it flat??
i assume it cant be folded

I do not have the new version, but have been using the 9-ball Accurack original for a year or so. Works extremely well. Always a tight rack. Wing ball is wired on a soft break like with the MR.

When practicing, I leave the rack on the table. Generally no problems with the roll. Unless the nine gets kicked out, it generally stays put (same as MR). so to remove the rack, you would need to lift and replace the nine. No biggie as far as I am concerned. If the new rack is open, then you could lift.
 
It would be cool to use one and make balls with every break.

The other team would ask if they could try it out.

You could say, FO, get your own. Just kidding. You would tell em, Cost ya buck to look and a buck fiddy to try it.

Pay for itself in no time flat.

Knowing our league, someone would whine and the next week there would be a memo in our weekly hand outs that no one can use a rack other than ones on the table. Cause yer gaffing the rack or something with it.

Bar box 9ball wing is pretty dead when the balls are frozen on any rack... They used them in the Music City 2 years ago and there were several dry breaks in the finals so it's not 100%... They were trying the soft break and the high package for the finals was 2... I think there was a 6 ran earlier in the tournament as the high package but Ray would have to remember as he was doing the streaming... It's bar box pool... I ran a 6pack the last time I played in the Music City with no templates rack your own maybe 5 years ago and Billy Young ran the set out (9 in a row) on Putnam racking his own in the same event... 10ball needs to be the game.....

You still have to break them right with the templates... Hitting them in the mouth from the box will get you the expected results of no wing ball...

They can be rolled up and if you screw up and crease it badly you can get the better half to hit it with an iron since it's polyester and it will be good as new... In my Justis which is a tube case I rolled it up around my break cue... Now that I have my JB Case which is not tubed I usually have it in the optional carry tube we sell on the website attached with a lanyard....

Rack is not perfect BUT, BIG BUT..... that doesnt mean it isn't best I've tried yet. The minor imperfections may not be really imperfections at all and they may be in the design (because of the material). For me its perfect, for amatuers it might not rack as easily as the original magic rack did but you definitely have my seal of approval ;)))

Are the new one's dishwasher safe? I recall how the first one I tried turned out after the dishwasher.

Thumbs up! Great results with nice spread.

Helps your break no matter which rack you use elsewhere.
Highly recommend for all of you who don't have the aramith super pro or better balls..I hope everyone knows the magic rack is designed and engineered to be used with aramith super pro or aramith tournament balls that have very tight specs..

Last part sounds more like my league. I asked the LO if I could start using my MR because we have these shitty flexible plastic things that are damn near impossible to get a nice rack out of. The response was "The other team must all agree with it and you have to make it available to them." That has went over real well let me tell you...


Back on topic, are these looking to be priced close to the MR? If you have spares laying around what would it take to get one?

no problem racking the balls and it works great....:thumbup:

So I finally went to go shoot yesterday and big-ups and thanks to Chris for a great product....consistency and quality is all I can say! Much appreciated
 
What the heck!

OK, I just placed my order.

However, I do have a question.

With the tiger bridge head (tired of the metal ones at the bar grinding on my cue), the cue claw and a pack of gum (no Nick Varner jokes, please) there is no space in the large pocket of my case.

Are people really hanging the tube off of their cases?
