You may have broken the record with the S word, but a bit of perspective might be in order. You may disagree; it's ok.
Most high end cue collectors, including those who like JossWest, have nothing to do with this forum. Many are international. A misguided contest and a couple threads on this forum means nothing to the high end collectors. A Josswest cue will still hold its value, if not increase, since Bill is retired. I know it's not what you want to hear, but, the truth.
There have been some other catastrophes with cuemakers, didn't deliver on time, didn't deliver at all, didn't answer at all, etc. If they're still in business, and have a name ending in "S," well, their cues probably are holding their value. It's easy to get over-cooked on this issue.
As for girlfriends, I'm not sure how you can tell the sex of posters, but we'll leave that be. As for collectors, they don't care about forums like this. They'll get a look at an available cue, whether at a show or online, and decide whether to buy. In the case of a JossWest, those cues won't lose value over these cyber-missives. Again, sorry to lend a bit of perspective, but truth has multiple sides.
