Here is Jay's Rosschinder Cue Finished and on it's way to New York.

This was a very interesting Custom Cue Project for me as it is a Medevil theme cue that Jay had in-visioned. My partner, Cue Artist Kenny Simmonsen hand painted the rope on the 3 Franciscan Cross MOP Inlays to put the icing on the cake.

Here is progress pics of the building of this cue:

Rick love this cue, out of the box, and love Ebony nose cues!
Thanks for showing!

Thanks Guys.

I can't wait for Jay's response to the playability.

These shafts are 11.70 mm and 11.55. I want see how my shaft taper works down there to his objective feel. He plays with some laminated shafts of that size and I am curious how his aim works with this set up.

Thanks again,

Rick

Sweet cue Rick, I like seeing cues that think outside of the box like this! Good stuff.

Hi Dak,

I am very lucky to have my friend Kenny in the shop as my Cue Artist partner. This butt sleeve came alive because of his talent. The 3 MOP Inlays would have looked very nice but Ken's rendering of the the rope brought a 3 D visual to the butt that is so cool. The butt sleeve is all Kenny's fault. LOL. We applied the art under the epoxy substrate before clear coating so if Jay ever refinished this bad boy the art will indeed will be protected.

Ken and I have been building our personal collection of art cues that is on going and when we reach 25 cues we will be showcasing his art talents a in an Exhibit in a famous New York Art Gallery who has shown interest.

Our latest Art Cue "The Miestro" will be unveiled at Big Chris's Windy City Cue Show in October. The theme for the cue is Leonardo Di Vinci. The art rendering for this cue is anchored in special inlay cameo windows that Ken designed with some special ring work I will be doing on the CNC. This cue in the works is so over the top with Classial art mixed with surrealism it will blow minds me thinks, as Ken takes each art cue to a higher level. Every time I enter the studio while we collaborate on a new art cue I get goosebumps.

This stuff makes me excited to get up every morning. Ken is also getting his renderings geared up for our next cue, "Nicola Tesla" the greatest Genius the world has ever witnessed. A national Serbian hero bigger than George Washington to America. But I guess I did not need to infom you of that fact. LOL!!!

Rick, Always look forward to seeing new cues from your shop. Always an original flavor, but you can tell who made it.

Open the link on post 1 progress pics.

There is a pic of the joint assembled shown before finishing.
