Seen it done out ivory, ebony, and cocobolo.

Going to Greek pete.

Very cool. How will it affect the weight and balance of the cue?

Not pretending to be Mr. Harris...but look at the face. The thickness of the copper is fairly small. That should affect the weight and balance less than the typical steel weight bolt found in the butt of pool cues.

Looks cool.

This thread is missing a 1,000-word chastising reply from
Thomas Wayne regarding the origin of this design :p

Can't wait till this is done already !!!!!! lol

Fellow Azers when Rob proposed this idea I thought to myself , yeah its a great idea and would love to see this on my cue but I just didn't think it was feasible due to the fact that I have never seen this done on any cue. Once again Mr. Robert Harris proved me wrong on what I thought could be done with his wild imagination. lol .....It's been a pleasure working with Robert even though this man just like all of us have personal lives which I understand are more important (generally speaking without going into to details) he never skipped a beat in this project. This man really loves building cues.;)

Very nice ,I don't care who did the first one or a similar one first, although it's original in material, this design is and always will be a signature sign of BLACK BOAR CUSTOM CUES. A lot of makers trying to jump on his band wagon lately.

I don't care to hear well Gus did the diamond or peacock and others do it? Your talking about a inlay design that is pretty standard. But Tony @ BB used those for many of years before a select few decided it's elegant and want to copy

I know sought after well known cue makers who can do this cap but refuse because they say it's Tonys style out of respect and wouldn't think of asking him if it was even ok to do it.

But it's very nice because it's very Black Boar and what BB isn't amazing ??? I will say this has been the finest version made by another cue maker besides tony yet

You are totally incorrect in thinking this was a black boar design. Tony himself said he got the idea from Crown Cues years ago.
Thanks
