Fluke scratch heartbreaker. The guy's a machine - he'll be back after he kicks the dog.

Definitely close.View attachment 615852
This was the break he scratched on. Bob, here is what you were talking about. Would that have been a break ball in a standard rack? Looks close.
Might be in with a thick, wooden Diamond rack. But probably not. The 1 looks an inch away from the 13.View attachment 615852

No. The break ball went straight in, the cue ball went to the side rail and then shallow to the foot rail and then got a very slight kiss from the 4 ball to make it hug the foot rail to the pocket. Slightly different timing and the scratch wouldn't have been close. He missed the 1, so the fluke scratch was just a bonus kick in the balls.
Did the 1 kick the CB in? That would be excessive.

Sort of....you just have to hit the play/pause button back and forth. If you are quick you can catch specific things. On the plus side the rewind button workedI had to watch it 10 times before concluding he didn't touch.
Do you know if FB has frame advance like youtube does? The arrow keys are giving me 10 second advances.
Well, technically, the 1 was not pocketed on a legal shot, so it was never scored. He didn't miss the 1.
That was taken out after the scratch.
The interface varies on FB videos according to the level of expansion. In some you get +-10 second buttons.Sort of....you just have to hit the play/pause button back and forth. If you are quick you can catch specific things.
Oh. Missed that. Thanks. He didn't miss the 1.

I think Ruslan is taking longer breaks between inning than Shane? Shane was going right into the next inning. I wonder how his mental state is now. Is he pissed he scratched? Did he forget already? Somewhere in-between?
The problem was not the closeness to the rack. The cue ball went nicely to the long rail and then got kissed into the opposite corner pocket. It was a horrible, freaky scratch. You can say the if he had hit it softer it wouldn't have scratched, but it probably wouldn't have scratched if he had hit it harder or with just a smidgen more right. With any reasonable sized rack that ball would have been moved to the spot and his run might have continued...
