The wifes new cue. Amboyna/Quilted Maple.

The Wife is upgrading. The cue should of been shipped to an AZer but I wasn't happy with the yellow veneer. It blends into the maple making the points look too far apart at the handle and the sharp points are hard to see. I'm finishing the exact cue with a green veneer on the outside instead of yellow for the customer.
This is the first Brass ring cue I've built and love the way it looks with the Amboyna. This Amboyna is some of the nicest I've seen.

This is a close picture of the distance between the points. If you look at the cue at a distance the points look 1/4" apart. The yellow and orange veneers blend in and the green shows.

Nice looking cue. Brass always looks fine & classy. I prefer it to silver any day. Nice job.
