The wood on this Josey Cue

Just looking to Confirm the type of wood on this Josey Cue that looks great. I know the forearm and butt are Cocobolo with a orange tint.
What about the handle?

I'm guessing the handle is either curly or fiddleback maple.

Little fact I'm sure a lot of you know already but the OP may not:

Hard rock maple, curly / tiger maple, birdseye maple and quilted maple are just different parts of the same tree- the sugar maple.

Dollar late and dollar short. It's Curly maple. And a sweet looking cue. Bet it's a sweet player. You're a lucky man. My Josie is due the end of the month.

If you like curly maple, you might also look into Chuck Starkey's cues. For my Starkey cue the butt is purpleheart and curly maple. Lots of curly maple.
