Just looking to Confirm the type of wood on this Josey Cue that looks great. I know the forearm and butt are Cocobolo with a orange tint.
What about the handle?

Thanks

Curly maple, AKA tiger maple

Sometimes known as Tiger maple.

Little fact I'm sure a lot of you know already but the OP may not:

Hard rock maple, curly / tiger maple, birdseye maple and quilted maple are just different parts of the same tree- the sugar maple.

Umm . . . ok, I'll bite. Which part of the tree does the curly come from? :scratchhead:

Dollar late and dollar short. It's Curly maple. And a sweet looking cue. Bet it's a sweet player. You're a lucky man. My Josie is due the end of the month.
