Just got back from the pool hall... I got there about six thirty and left with a few friends about nine to go eat. Got back at about 10:30 and shot til about 12. Got out to my car and my cd player was gone and my alarm doesnt work anymore. It was terrible. Its been bad here in my lovely town. Not too long ago they stole a lot of stuff from my friends yard, put it in HIS truck and stole the truck too. Anyone else been through this lately?

Not lately, but I've been through it as well.

Personally you feel like you've been violated when someone steals from you. It's a sick feeling. My shed in the backyard was a magnet to thieves. After two self propelled lawn mowers, two gas powered weed eaters and two gas powered blowers were stolen I tore the shed down.

As for pool cues the only time I've seen any stolen was when the owner was stinking drunk and left it "right there." Hard to say just what the real circumstances were there.

This is why the victims of crimes that DO see who did it need to shoot the bastards. Believe me after awhile others will think twice before breaking into houses, cars, and boats. Where I grew up in Oceanside, Long Island crime very rarely happened because they knew they could get shot or beat up badly.

My wife and I were doing a two year traveling nurse gig in a small town in NC in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Early 1990's. You could leave your car or house unlocked all the time...even when you weren't home...why? Because everyone owned a gun and weren't affraid to use it. Johnnyt

a guy that worked for me, hit me for a MAC-10 and a silencer-wow did the ATF come up my ass, its considered 2 class 3 weapons,

a louie voitton duffel bag

a cartier watch

he knew where everything was, i was a dumbass and went out for a haircut and forgot to lock up my gun, the watch in the drawer he knew about, he cased the joint ahead of time, luckly I switched watchs just before i left or i would have lost a HUGE $$$ watch the one he got was about 5 dimes

after paying my lawyer to handle the ATF the total loss was 23,000. I did everything short of being illegal to get my stuff back, i cant buy guns anymore because of that ATF beef, it will go away in time. If I didnt have anything to lose-get sued for I would have taken homeboy who pinched me out to the desert beat him up took all his cloths and made him walk about 20 miles home with nothing for his feet, ass, etc. thats along hard walk

Wow...That is terrible. No more hair cuts for you during the workday.

I can't tell you how many bikes, weed eaters, blowers etc.. i've had stolen in the past few years.

late last year, my newly bought shoes got stolen from my apartment. the plumber was obviously the culprit. since he was the only one who got access in my domain and was also permitted by the landlord to do his sh*twork while I was out at work. the landlord tried contacting the lowlife bastard but to no avail. so I asked for a collateral damage from the landlord, which he obliged. otherwise I would have to refuse paying next month's rent, which is a lot more than what I was asking. fair trade I should say. I feel bad for the landlord, but it would also feel bad if I was to suffer from his negligence. I let Karma decide what happens to that thief.

Well probably also because everyone knew everyone else as well. I like small town life better. I lived in Dover AR and it was pretty much that way as well , except for the everyone owning a gun part. I don't know about that - I doubt it.

One time I went out to my car to find that the thieves had broken the window and stolen my big 20" monitor. Too bad for them though as it was broken and on it's way to the recycling place. Must of sucked to carry that monster only to find it's worthless.

My friend had his car broken into in Amsterdam. They stole all his cds and left over $50,000 worth of pool cues in the back.

And once our car was broken into and our bowling balls were stolen while they missed the wallet with $700 in it that I left on the passenger seat.

Sucks though anytime something is stolen :-(

My mom did that to a guy once. She was ruthless if someone ripped her off. I wouldn't have wanted to be the one who double crossed her in a deal. You should have seen how she beat the hell out of me for sneaking off to gamble at pool - and I came home winner :-) Of course it didn't help that I was grounded when I did it.
