Just got back from seeing my surgeon this morning. Great news.....no more slings....my arm had been given it freedom.
So naturally I asked about pool playing and was slightly disappointed but not crushed. I was told I can't really use my right arm involving any weight whatsoever for the next 3 months.
I pointed out that my cues are barely over a pound and he smiled & said maybe by my next apptmt. At the present, no pool playing because of my labrum resection and the pool swing
motion involves tendons & labrum. My physical therapist predicted last week I'd be playing pool again in a month and it is starting to look that way.
The month of May promises to be a great month......hopefully get the okay to resume pool playing again and the arrival of a couple of new cues. I've been getting progress pictures
over the past few weeks on one particular cue underway and it's looking good. And tonight..... I get to sleep in a real bed......no more sleeping in the recliner chair like the past 11 weeks.
So as you can see from this thread's title, "Yes", absolutely yes.....things are indeed getting better.
