thinning 5 minute epoxy???

I have added laquer thinner to epoxy with good results.

THere is a epoxy thinner called Klinks. Home Depot and Lowes used to sell it. It thins 5 minute Devcon okay. Be sure to mix the epoxy before you add thinner.

Why thin out the epoxy and risk failure?
Why not just use a 30-60 minute variety?

dont know, and im sure there might be somthing better, but i do know that the epoxy sealer from prather works really well if you dont mind the wait. it is 20 min, but it is really, really thin and penetrates better than anything else i have tried. james
