I will say you have been right in the middle of some of the crap thats terrible here. All the gambling crap Frost talks about is true, sadly. The tournament crap is funny. :(

Since you came around there has been somewhat of an increase in gambling, thats ok with me. Unfortunatly a couple of the so-called great players from DSM wont play unless they: A. have the nuts B. are betting $5. This is not something you are use to being around, you and i have talked about this a couple times.

Im glad to have gotten to know you on good terms, and for anyone who thinks mike is an angry/unruly person, you are very wrong. He just likes to state his opinion which i dont have a problem with.
 
Mike A., I never pulled up early on anyone you know that. Josh backed out of that game last night by the way, go figure. If you want to play him some ahead sets on my dime just say the word.

To go along with what Richardson is saying, I think the really good players around here pretty much stay out of each others way because it's not worth the hassle(ppl drink too much and have no table ettiquette) or they are good friends and only play cheap(I actually think that's cool cuz I dont agree with betting high against friends).

I have reliable guys tell me things and give me good lines and steer me away from bad action and sometimes I'm hard headed and still get into the action anyways. I don't think there is a shortage of talent it's just so many people are used to shooting air barrells and getting square at a later date you cant trust the action, even if you post up.
 
Hey Athens, i was not talking to you at all was i ? That comment was directed towards someone we both know though.

And did i ask for that much ? we played 12 sets, you ended 2 up and we went hill/hill like 6 times ? I thought we matched up pretty well. And the bonus playing me is ill play for something worthwhile, and ill actually pay up if i lose.

have to say im laughing a little here because as much as u complain about your action here come on down to miller time billiards and u will find some action try jesse or jamie b, johnny kucharo, many more on the list from the qc and im sure they would love to show you how bad us iowa players are goodluck with your action here

So my suggestion for you Mike F. .... Stop flaming and ranting and posting about how bad Iowa for is you and your action and use your knowledge and resources to find out who to gamble with and better yet, who NOT to gamble with.

You seem smart and have a good understanding about the game and the gamble but somehow you've managed to square up with 2 of the worst people to gamble with in the MIDWEST let alone IOWA! For someone that talks alot about how much they have done thier homework on Iowa players, I give you a FAIL.

Tell ya what I will do for you, next time you find yourself about to get involved in some action, you get ahold of me and I will tell you whether or not its 'good action'. If I'm wrong, I will give you action myself, $100 sets I just need the 6-out and the breaks!:p Oh and I will let you hold the cheddar....
 
I hear ya on all sides....I think I'm just going to leave this post where it's at...I got buddies on here kind of trading shots, got stick up artists who somehow get justified by the home team, and I got one conclusion it ain't worth it. I don't need to be welcomed by y'all I make my own way. Just feel dumb as hell when at any given time you lost out on 5 dimes worth of action because of internet rants. I'm not flaming or ranting just stating facts on what has happened. Everyone loves throwing out these names of all these champs but truth be told they have mostly all been to Big Dogs, and they don't even try to match up when they come so what the hell does that tell you. You know what, you guys are smarter than me though "Make people post" thats bullshit. Do you keep making people post after they show you some gamble...no that's insulting after a certain point. F qualifying my statements cuz I could give two shits what people who don't know me think. I'm still gonna do me, bet that.
