The shot posted is just another shot that separates the men from the boys. :grin: This is one type of rail hop shot. Knowing or an educated guess on how rails react is the key. Any good player should have a decent idea.
My first episode was 60's and I have used variations since. One time for the cash in a hill game and made it. In this case the o/b was about center between long rails. I knew I'd hit it and luck was on my side, it never bobbled. It's a good shot to know. Some may think it a little far fetched but a hand full of elevated shots into the rail is good to know to.
