To the OP, do you have any problems with having hard wood in your pool room? I'd think it's either uncomfortable to walk on for hours, or is noisy when you have a group over.

The only reason I can think of to get black cloth would be to put it under a blacklight with glowing balls.
When God invented the pool table, He intended them to be green, and the chalk blue.
I need to refelt my pool table. After exploring ideas I thought with the light wood color that black actually looked pretty good. Anyone have any experience with black felt? Any opinions on a different color? I am debating between what's on it now or black, but I'm open to other suggestions.

I have to confess that I've never played on black or spruce cloth.
I played in a tournament in a ballroom once....floor was too slippery....
...I bought a Coke ( I don't drink pop) and spilled some on the floor near my chair....
...rubbed my shoes in it so I could make a solid stance.
By the second round, everybody else was doing it
