The press release about the 200-and-out says that Procita made his run in the US Open. The record-book-listed date of the run was before the US Open started and I'm pretty sure Procita never played in the US Open.

That story also errs in its mention of Bustamante's inning(s) and in how many balls Appleton pocketed in his last rack.

Bustamante made his long opening shot after Appleton's opening safety. But he then played safe. Appleton countered with another safety. Bustamante then missed an ill-fated carom shot out of the pack (not a combination) to get Appleton started.

For the last rack, Appleton stood at 195 before the break (13 from the first rack and then 13 full racks of 14 = 195), and pocketed 5 balls from the last rack to complete the 200. In other words, by inning:

A1: opening safety, left two balls exposed
B1: made long shot from head rail, then played safe

A2: played safe
B2: missed a carom (kiss) shot

A3: 200 and out
