Tiger Everest tips

Does anyone have some insightful opinions and experiences (good and bad) with Tiger Everest tips? I have read some opinions on here about them, but am looking for more. These are going to be the standard tip on the new Predator shafts. I want to get an idea of people's opinions so I know if I can settle for this tip, or should I just have them put a Moori/Sniper on instead?

Any opinions/stories on these tips would be appreciated.

I used the tip once I liked the way that it played but I didn't like the way it mushroomed. I've been with Moori ever since. I plan to get the new Z, but a Moori will go on it.

The Everest is the favorite of AZ'rs Shawn Putnam and Jamison Neu. Max Eberle as well.

Pretty much all tiger tips are the best out there. Even though I like to play with Killers and Kamui's. I wouldn't have any hesitation to any tiger tip installed on my cue. Even the 3 dollar dynamite tips play good. Everest is one of my favorite tigers though. Well That's just my opinon. FWIW

I love them. The last two cues I have owned had them and I will have them installed on any cues I get in the future. The control is great and they hold the chalk better than Moori's (in my opinion).

Two friends had them put on their cues after hearing me talk about them and they are both very happy with them so far.

IMO, the everest tip is the best out there. I have been hearing and witnessing too many issues with Morri's lately. I have tried so many tips this past year (went on my own best tip for me trip) and the everest wins hands down. I have never had a issue with mushrooming, but i know of others that have. They reshapped the tip once and never a issue again.

Corey-

What's the hardest tip Tiger makes (non-phenolic, leather).

S

That would be the Tiger Jump/Break. It is a leather Hybrid (cowhide & pig leather) tip.

We don't make Phenolic tips.

I use and recommend Everest tips for all of my playing shafts except my X-Breaker which comes with its own special tip. They work great with all different ferrules I've tried them with (ivory, plastics, etc.).

As soon as I get the shafts done on my personal cue I plan to try an Everest and a Tiger M for a side by side comparison....BTW...what hardness is an Everest tip supposed to be??

Everest tips

I use Everest on my cues. I hit alot of high impact shots and I found them to be the most durable.
Here is my website you can see how they respond to Masse the tip I had on one of the cues was well over six months old and had seen it's fair share of abuse. Valley Forge alone would have broke most other brands. http://jamisonneu.com/neuvideos.htm
I have tried most of the different laminates to find a tip that would stand up to that type of beating. This is all the proof I need.

I can recommend Everest tips without hesitation. They have a slightly softer sound and feel than a Moori III M, but play almost the same. As for longevity, I can see no difference between Everest and Moori. I'm actually surprised more people don't know how good Everest tips are.
