Hi, I have a Valley 7ft I'm redoing in Simonis tour edition cloth. I also want the table to have 4.5 pockets without being shimmed. So any advice on new rails would be greatly appreciated. Making the ball return quietly is also important to me. I'm located in Calgary, Alberta in case any mechanics are heading around these parts. Thanks for any help.
Tighter pockets for a Valley barbox?

Get a set of Ridgeback rails for your Valley. They won't make the pockets any tighter size wise, but they sure and hell will make them play a lot tighter. Johnnyt

You would have to ask Glen (therealkingcora) on here or Kerry at ridgebackrails.com if they recomend shimming. Johnnyt

I put a set of ridgeback rails w/simonis 860 and a new set of Arimith balls on our 1960 valley. The table plays as good as you will ever get a valley to play. Kerry at ridgeback was more then helpfull and everything went great. I highly recommend Ridgeback rails for a Valley barbox, as for tightening the pockets talk to Kerry or realkingcobra.
