Tim Scruggs Cues

Ts sneaky was the first custom cue i purchased years ago. It was the straightest thing i have ever seen. I was sad to let it go. and Always remembered it as the blue chip of pool cues.

I've caught flak for this statement before, but what the hell...

The majority of the Scruggs cues I've use have shot like complete crap. There have been a few I liked, but could count on one hand. I bought a sneaky a while back and it's my daily player.

I have two, a piloted steel joint and a tulipwood piloted joint. I prefer the hit of the steel joint one but know there are other factors. Would like to try a sneaky but can't justify the asking price these days.

I had a TS sneaky, it was very good, but I came into a Pechauer sneaky that hit great, so sold the TS on. I still have two Scruggs cues, one is an Iv***y joint four pointer with a little inlay work, hits great, and my main player for years, a plain four-veneer four pointer
piloted steel joint cue... hits a TON... I can force-follow and stick-draw better with that cue than anything I've owned, and that includes a Gus. My .02:cool:

I had a chance to hit a couple of balls with one. The cue hit incredibly well. Would have bought it on the spot if I had $2200 in my pocket. My current EDC is the closest cue I’ve ever hit with that played like it. I tried to get Jules to make me a “phantom” EDC, but he’s not taking orders.

I won’t give you flak... I’ve shot with plenty of south west and zam’s and Ithink the same about them lol Thats why the question who’s make the best playing cue is silly. It’s different for everyone.
