I vote not ivory also but they do exist. I've been around a few TS sneakies w/ ivory joints.
I remember one was purpleheart with fancy dash joint rings. Another was bacote much like the OP's style but with an ivory Hoppe ring that my buddy ordered from Tim. In each case the ivory joint was standard length, not shortened like this one, which was typical in my experience of the alternate ivory jointed sneakies.

I don't think Tim or Cochran or even Bob Frey would make a piloted ivory joint. The OP has not confirmed that it is not ivory. It would place too much stress on the joint IMHO

Hi Gene;

I think it's pretty unusual but I have a 1998 TS with ivory piloted joint (see below). Even came with the bonus ivory buttcap.

I should have spun it around to show the more grainy section for photos.

This one hits like a dream.

And I agree, I'd be very surprised if the op's cue has an ivory joint but he hasn't confirmed yet, one way or another.

is it real ivory or i know on most t.s. high end cue's came out with ivory and a lot of sneekey's came with a joint call ivoren 3 that looks like ivory but stronger

The asking price was edited in later, after the highest bidder auction had already begun.
The OP also made a seperate post stating that he added the price.
