Those are both excellent cues for both playability and for collect-ability.
Que is a line that you wait in . . .
I have a Scruggs sneaky and it's much more whippy than my tad plain Jane. Both are high quality, good hitting cues and have a lot of feel despite hitting differently. Which one you decide on should be up to personal preference. In the end, there is no substitute for just trying both out and seeing what you like. My personal recommendation would be a tad with the big pin and phenolic joint.
I say...Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
I heard there is a big tournament / expo coming up in May in Vegas.
Do you think they will have Tad's there?
I've been trying to find one to hit with but haven't had any luck yet.
Hi All,
I am in the market for a Scruggs que and a friend of mine told me to look at a Tad as well.
Has anyone hit with both?
If so, what are your thoughts on the two?
Thanks,
Sherwin

They both hit different.
Tad is a harder hitting cue, like a szam or Hercek.
Both are great cues.
Tad cues have great shaft wood.
Maybe some of the best available.
