Stu had a successful career….he deserves the life style he has now.sorry not rich enough to not work and travel to pool tournaments
so whats he do? go to pool tournaments and write reviews?
or more ?
i just asked what he did for pool, the answerStu had a successful career….he deserves the life style he has now.
I feel that we need to look at Stu not for what he “does” - he is not a player or a billiard sponsor- to me, Stu represents what this game has needed for all the years that it never could shake a bad “image” problem.what does he do?
Intentionally dense? Are you?let someone who knows answer, keep your feelings with the searing who has all your money

Oh, I am special alright, glad someone finally noticed, thanks Stu!!!I'm very flattered by this thread, but what I love about the forum is that there is no rank around here and we all contribute in our own special way. I am more than satisfied to be recognized as one of the many who offer significant content to the AZB forum.
Yes, I had a successful career, but I know I caught a few rolls in my corporate life that enabled me to retire at 50 and to live the life I now lead. I traveled to at least two pro events a year from 1976-2008. Ever since my retirement in 2008, I have traveled to nearly every US Open 9ball, Derby City Classic, and Mosconi Cup and have been to several International Opens and Turning Stone Classics.
When I first joined the forum in 2003, JAM was producing great trip reports from tournaments she attended that I really enjoyed. There is no question that it was her reports that motivated me to begin writing of my own experiences while attending pro events, and it is something I enjoy doing. My goal has always been to motivate others to attend pro events live and one of the joys I often experience is when I get to meet people who regularly read my trip reports and recognize me from my AZB avatar.
I am also very informed on the matter of pool politics and post regularly about how I feel certain situations and disputes will or might help or hurt the game.
After all is said and done, this thread is plenty enough recognition for me, and I thank everyone who posted for their kind words.

I don’t believe a more enthusiastic or more knowledgeable fan and follower of professional pool (both men and women) exists who could possibly rival Stu.for all he has done for the spirit and information of pool and its events. as well as a superb ambassador of the sport.
