Time to give it up !

Hey guys & gals, I just wanted to relay a positive note to everyone.

IMO, Mike Howerton from AZbilliards.com, JR Calvert & Sally Timko from Inside Pool Magazine do a fantastic job of covering regional events. They are the only two nationwide (and beyond) media outlets that give us regular up to date information about regional events. Their coverage is excellent in their articles and pictures alike.

I just wanted to tell everyone how much I appreciate the work that they do and give them all a BIG pat on the back.

Additionally, I want to mention that you can also support them for their efforts and help ensure that all of us can continue to benefit from their websites and magazine by purchasing products or subscriptions from their online stores.

At http://www.insidepoolmag.com/shop/home.php you can purchase subscriptions from 1 to 3 years to the Inside Pool Magazine or just get an Inside Pool T-Shirt.

At http://marketplace.azbilliards.com/store/home.php you can select from a large variety of billiard gear.

Please make sure you support those that support our sport by purchasing directly from them.

Respectfully,

Charter subscriber to IP (got a free Corel Deuel and Troy Frank video tape to prove it!) and az'r since 99. Very grateful for the service from both entities. Thanks!... and thanks to Mike for his recognition of both and for his contributions. Viking Tour to be in Galesburg this next weekend!!

I'll be there.

Mike & Jim,
I'll see you both on Saturday. I have a feeling Jon Kucharo will be there too. He was there last weekend for the ACS tournament that Jessie Bowman won. I had Jessie hill-hill and couldn't close the deal.

Tap, Tap, Tap...Good idea MikeJanis. I hope everyone enjoys this computer aided diversion from the hustle and bustle as much as I do. And a thanks to those who make it possible.

Looking forward go seeing you Bud. It's been a couple years!!

Don't know if Mike will be there. I somehow got the impression that the Viking Tour has two branches, and he's attached to the other one.... I think. Maybe he'll see this and respond. I'd like to say hey if he's around these parts.

No Mike?

Jim,
Has it been two years? I know its been a while. It'll be good to see you on Saturday.

Mark Hammerl (owner of Billiards On Main, the tournament venue) has been talking to Mike quite a bit about the event. I guess I assumed he was coming?

Unfortunately, I won't be at the Galesburg event. Shawn Putnam will be directing that one.

I will be in the area on March 24-25. I will be directing the event at Coonie's in Logansport, Indiana.

Mj
