Tip Distance From CB At Final Address

Depends on your stroke. Closer=better I say. Busty and very few others visualize and execute a perfect stroke from a greater initial distance. Humans vs. aliens?

I second this notion. The closer the tip to the CB, with a pause at the CB before firing, the better accuracy you will have. Not sure why you're asking this, since Joe Tucker already knows this, and you've worked with him.

Because the OP might be looking for the members on this forum that are "A" players and above. 😀

If by final address you mean final warm up stroke before pulling the trigger then I'd say less than half an inch (just checked this for myself). However, when pulling the trigger I pull back about 2-4 inches.

That half inch or less is more or less a way to check that you're lined up to hit the CB where you want to, correct?

I don't know if I'm an A player or not, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night and I think 1/4" and resting is right on.
