Tip hardness

Whatever hardness a Sniper is. To me, it hits soft/medium but doesn't mushroom, etc.

I prefer to play with a medium tip that "feels" soft. My favorites are the Everest and the Triangle. I prefer to hear a "thunk" sound instead of a "tink" when I hit the cue ball. They both hold their shape well, retain chalk well, and I can really get down under 'ol whitey without any fear of a miscue. I haven't tried the Moori mediums yet, but I have a few of them. Next time I re-tip a cue, I'm gonna install one and see if I like it as much as many on this forum do.

I prefer a hard layered tip. Morri or Talisman.I like the feedback I get from the hard tip. I believe I get more feel in my grip hand from a hard tip and I like the sound better.
 
Hard. I usually play with a Moori III-Q. Tried the Kamui H, but it was too hard. Want to try a Kamui M soon to see how it compares to the Moori. Same as above...it seems to give me more feedback, feel of the shot.
 
hard,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,french champion,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if you want it to last more than 3 months. however some cues ill take what the cue maker suggests
 
I actually play with a sniper.

The perfect tip would be, according to me, a tip that grips a lot the cue ball (like the soft ones) but plays, feels hard --> for the feeling.
 
I play with a hard tip because it keeps its shape longer.

I feel that playing with the same shape tip will go a long way toward making me more consistent with my shooting, so always having a tip the same shape is important.

And since a hard tip does not need shaping as often, it lasts longer before I need to replace it.
 
I like the Morri tip on My Mezz, I useualy prefere Le Pro. I also recently Tried a Sniper on my sons Player's cue and it plays remarkably well. I think thats what Im going to replace the Morri with when it needs changed.

Le pro is a good tip, I have my Mezz but at times I still like to hit balls with my Lucasi, and I can say without a doubt I can generate alot of spin with either cue.

I play with a lepro, but before I install it, I drop it in a half glass of regular white milk for 24hours, then immediately squeeze it in a bench vice and leave it for 48 more hours, And then I put it on my cue. The result is a hard tip that does not mushroom at all, but yet feels soft just like i'm used to.
