I've been using the Everest tip on my Predator shaft for some time know, but am thinking about going to something different. Any suggestions?

any reason for it? There are so many tips on the market. Imo the Everest (played it for about half a year) was a good tip. Then i changed to Kamui MS (bs Everest were not available at that time) and i m very fine with it-chalk holds perfectly-good quality.
Atm i received another shaft-oldgrown, modified taper with a 14mm ivory ferrule, carbonfiber pad and a kamui-black-medium. Playes also very good. But not really a huge difference between the MS and the black.Just a different *lighter* sound with the black. But that s just subjective my opinion.
The best advice i can give- if you found a tip that satisfied you, buy 10-15 tips from this charge, because sometimes a charge can differ a bit. Too much tip testing can drive you crazy- too much room for excuses<-------LOL

You might like a Wizard or a Talisman soft.
I've been pushing the Talsiman soft for some time now and have not had one complaint.
After the initial break in games. Reshape a bit and they will stay that way.
No mushrooming.
If you decide on a Talsiman, send me your address and I will send one to you Gratis. Thats a French word for free. They forced me to try and learn that dumb ass language in school and thats the only word I can remember.

Maybe AZ won't buy you a new Black Boar but the least I can do is buy you a new tip.

I say if its not broke dont fix it. But if you have never tried a Kamui, i would suggest it.

Not trying to brag or nothing but I gave a guy one of my Duds to try and he raves about it. This guy hand tips his cues and they look like they've been put on with a lathe. A very hard guy to please, so if he likes one of my Duds, I must have done something right.

Wouldn't you know it I landed on MED. Brown. Soft Black is as far as I went on the soft side. No SS Black. But even going soft at all was for verification of all the questions swirling in my head.
This was an expensive experiment but what ya goin to do?

i have bounced around from tip to tip for years. i even try the new tips when they go band wagon. It would seem i always find my way back to the sniper (tiger sniper) i will use them till they stop making them.

I went from Everests to Kamui Black Soft. Been happy with them.
Biggest plus is that I've not seen any of the "glue glazing" that you get with the Everest when you transition into a new layer. Found that to be a miscue danger with them if you weren't careful to scuff.

I like Triangle, for the money they are hard to beat.
You may like them pressed.
I also looked for something better for my Z, just for the helluvit. Tried a couple of different Kamui tips, but I felt they actually grabbed too much ball for me(too much spin and swerve). Staying with the tiger everest, doesnt seem much different from the sniper tip. After awhile it feels like an old moori med, which is what I am used to anyway. Good luck Steamer.

I used to use a everest, I switched to Kamui Black Soft and I will never go back.
Better feel, more spin. I can so pretty much whatever I want with the Kamui.
Just remember Kamui's play a little harder then they are labeled, so the soft plays like a medium, very close to an everest.

I have tried seveal different tips on my Predator Z and have come back to the LePro. You have to sort through the box to get a good one but once found and seated (over several hours of play) they are consistent throughout the life of the tip.
Laminated tips seem to delaminate after awhile and this is not acceptable to me.

Hi, Joe. Good to see you again.
I was going to tell you about the Dalai Lama and how he plays a great game of pool and that he once told me that he liked to use the leather tips made from the other llama, the one with the long neck and kind of looks like a wooly camel. He also like to cure the tips by smearing a little kvack excrement on them to cure them but I hope that doesn't excite you too much as I know the propensity you have for that stuff. For what it's worth I have never seen him miscue on a single shot. I really don't know if he was joking with me or not and who knows where you would get such a thing these days. He and I have parted ways since I've been posting on AZB so I'm no longer invited to those great parties we used to go to. But since I am a poor story teller I will just give you my humble recommendation to try a Kamui tip. I've only tried the Kamui Tan Mediums but they're do a fine job on my OB2. I like Everest tips but like the Kamui tips a little better. It might be the great marketing that they have or the fact that I seem to miscue less.
