Maniac, your hand does not feel different from one day to the next. It's all in your head.
Just wondering how many cues do you bring to the PH?
Yes, I agree, it IS all in my head. That's why in my post I said I haven't yet figured out the "why this is" variable of the feeling of a particular cue on any given day.
I also said I use several cues of varying tip diameter on my practice table AT HOME. I do not do this at the pool hall on league nights or in a tournament. I basically have a main shooting cue that I use, and it is always a Z shaft for me as far as competing goes.
FWIW, I have an Instroke Cowboy 3x7 case with my break cue (plus an extra 12mm shaft in case I ever wanna loan the cue to a friend for the night), my main player, a Lucasi LE-66 butt w/one Z and one Z-2 shaft both w/sniper tips, plus the stock Lucasi shaft just because I have it, and a Jacoby D11 with both the stock shaft and a 314-2 shaft, which I am currently transitioning into my main "player". This is what I take to the pool hall with me. It's more cues/shafts than I need for a normal night of pool, but when I get "into" a hobby, I usually like to at least have semi-decent equipment and plenty of it. I ain't gonna die with all my money in the bank like a lot of people do

!!! I also like to fish. I own 18 rods and reels and 6 tackle boxes

. I also target shoot. I own 14 scoped hi-powered rifles and 8 pistols

. I have 2 motorcycles (down from 4 just the year before last). Do you see the pattern here

? I guess I got more money than sense (but not a hell of a lot of either

). I got my nickname for a reason, I guess
