I want to do something a little different here. Things have been going pretty well for me in recent months and it is nice to give back. I know it is not much, but with that in mind I would like to offer this cue for free. I will pay shipping so there will be zero expense to whoever this cue goes to. I would like the cue to go to someone who actually wants the cue, maybe a newer player who doesnt have a cue or can not afford one. Please post or PM me a little about yourself and how you came to play this game we all enjoy so much. I will pick someone who I feel is a good fit for the cue.

If anyone has any other ideas as for how to choose who gets this cue please let me know.

I would be all ove this, however I have a cue already. I hope somebody who deserves it, gets it and I hope things continue to go well for the OP throughout the years. Very nice gesture sir! Rep!

Nice thing to do, cannot think of anyone as of now, hopefully it goes to someone who is deserving of it. :)

awesome idea. i dont need the cue, however i have friend at my pool hall that could use one. he has a players cue i gave him but that cue is on its last legs lol. his girlfriend has 2 kids and they live together. the only job they both have is the work at the pool hall. his game is getting alot better however he could use a new cue but cant afford one. i even told him i would buy him a cue and he could make payments to me but he is uncomfortable with that. so i recomend him. if you choose him, you can ship the cue to me and i will give it to him. good luck and again awesome gesture.

This is a great thing to do, if you dont find some one on here you could all ways donate it to a boys & girls club and maybe spark a youngster into getting hooked on some 9 or 8 ball.

Thank you all for the nice comments.

poolfool1957 has offered to sweeten the pot for the person who gets this cue. So lets all give Rick a big thank you.

I would really like this cue to go to a member of AZ, I think I am going to post this in the main forum area as well.

What a great thing to do. I was given a cue once by an older gentlemen who couldnt see very well anymore. He noticed I was always playing with a house cue and asked me if I owned my own cue. I replied that I couldnt really afford one at that time, new father, bills to pay, you all know the story. He gave his cue to me with the stipulation that I was never to sell it, but if I didnt want it anymore I was to pass it on to someone who needed and deserved one. Well now I own a few very nice customs, but that cue still owns its rightful place in my cue case. Every so often I take "Grandpa" out and shoot a few racks with it and it still plays solid like a rock. So hopefully someone will tell you a story that fits to give him or her the cue. Good luck and again what a great thing to do.

Highest Regards

Very cool thing to do.

15 months ago, I would have been asking to be considered. I was (am) new to the game, and didn't have anything terribly nice to use. Since then, I've managed to get myself something to use that I'm quite pleased with. But I can remember the feeling....

Once again, this is an awesome gesture. Good karma coming your way, for sure. Thank you for doing this.

Extremely nice gesture for sure. Hopefully someone very deserving will end up with the cue. + rep for such a nice gesture.

Hi, I have a friend that is in VA hospital and has begun to play pool. He says they only have some house cues that are not in great shape. He is learning and working with rehab patients. He is getting them into playing pool and has been working with many Veterans that are in wheel chairs. He does not have much money. I hope you would be willing to consider him as a prospect for this cue , it would be a great Xmas present for him and his intentions to help other wounded warriors find some relief playing pool.
