To all the cues I've loved before....

Will everybody please stop pouring salt in my open wound about the Searing Cue? PLEASE?!?! :(:(:(

The Searing is safe and sound, in a happy home, surrounded by great company. It resides there due to circumstances of my own doing...and I've got nobody to blame but myself.

I've suffered enough. Please don't kick a man while he's down.

Expressions of your condolences (Flowers and Reese's cups) can be mailed to my home address. PM me to receive that info.....

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Be good, ya'll.

You need to send me your address...
Holidays greetings are coming so time to update my list.

You did manage to find some beauties and a few of those cues I managed to test. Appreciate that seeing as how there are times I could not chase them all as well. If there is ever a time you can get some table time when the family is gone, send me message and I will come your way or meet up in Springfield to see Matt (have lots more free time and I still play in some great places if you can make a road trip as well).

Talk to you soon.

Searing

Selling that cue is like rubbing the lamp, getting a wish...not many opportunities to rub the lamp

Mark, those were all nice cues and i would have bought them all if contacted. Give me a call if you, Myron and i can hook up to play some saturday. #301-351-5178 best regards.
"country" Bob

Thanks, gentlemen (and Scott :) :) ),

I don't play much anymore...unless I'm on the road for work and have some spare time to kill.

That said...if the time ever comes where I can meet up with you guys, I damned sure will holler at ya.

You guys have a great upcoming holiday. Best to you and yours.

Mark

Mark,

Fortunately, I've known you a little too long to think your search for the Golden Fleece Wrapped Cue is over. Here's some more of the cues you've loved before...

Hope you're back soon! Hugs to all of the Raymond Troupe...

Steve

WOWSA
Steve you have picked up a few from Mark (aka The Connoisseur of Cue Flippers).
Do not remember the ebony hoppe - But who made that one?
Love the 6-pointer - remember when Mark picked it up - How does it play?

Enjoy those beasts.

Hey Myron,

How ya been? I hope all is well with you!

The ebony Hoppe is a Rauenzahn. I traded it back and forth with Mark a couple of times. I have it back in my possession now, with a white/green spec linen wrap on it.

The six pointer played very nicely. I sold it to Murray Tucker, who I believe sold it back to Mark at one point.

You're sure getting a nice collection together these days! What are you using for a player?

Great "talking" with you again, Myron! Take care...

There has been some cue moves on my end - I do flip as well.
My go to battle cue is the Half Joint SS Ebony Hoppe by Dennis.
Love to play the 3/8" Barry once in a while.
Have 4 Tascarella's that still need to be battle tested on the felt.
Two other cues that I would play are both with the original cue makers for minor work and they will both see some felt time - For Sure!

Keep in touch.
Myron

Steve,

You are the MAN, sir. Thank you for posting up a FEW of the cues we've shared.

How could I possibly forget that barbell Jensen cue?!? That was one of my top 5!! (Maybe I should make a top 10 list instead...to make more room for the REAL good ones). That 6-point Klein belongs up at the top, too!!

Thanks again, and the brood says 'hi." Even the little princess monster extends her warm wishes to you and Rose.

Be good, sir.

M

Remember Rat you have a standing invitation to play at my house whenever you want.

Just give me a ring-a-ding-ding

I remember, sir...and appreciate the invite. Perhaps one of these days.....:(

Have a great remainder of the week, and likewise for the upcoming holiday.

Take care,

M

Mark,

The Searing is all you need, my friend. But I would need a 314 on it before I could play with it (gasp!). ;)

Myron,

Come on down to Springfield with Mark! Bring your pal who smokes those good CIGARS. You can smoke in there again. We had a great time last time we played (what...3 years ago, LOL!). Bring your cues. We have a cue afficionado just about as addicted to cues as the two of you, Jerry (Mark knows him).

You know me....I just still have my old Predator Sneaky Pete. ;) But if Mark ever sells his his Searing, I would make an immediate trip to the bank to withdraw the cash....(unless he takes American Express).

Matt

Attention to detail, son!! That's what it's all about.....

You make me sad, Matt.

Talk to ya later, chief.

Crap - I guess I was asleep at the wheel!!!! Don't mean to make you sad, my friend! OH well, I'll buy you a beer (or three) next time we play. Come on out this weekend. My schedule is OPEN!
