some may say im out of line but here we go anyway
the guy says hes a newbie. he has thrown himself on the mercy of the forum and said hed make the deal right. yet you guys still rip him apart. he even offered to use escrow
IMO you guys should cut his a bit of slack.
not eveyone knows the azb way of doing buisness....
cc you can learn and recover from this. i had a very very bad deal early and i recovered very very well. i was in your same boat. since then ive had many many flawless deals on multi-thousand dollar cues. just be careful on your next few deals. you may have to take the extra step but in the end if your a man of his word this will repair itself

I agree with Dave and Lenny, Farhad has taken a beating and it sounds like he gets the point. As long as I get my money back I have no further bones. I will say I was red hot this morning . . . I will watch the mailbox and wait for closure.

What you did was wrong. You posted a price. It was good enough to attract a buyer. Then you decided that you may have gotten more money for it and here is a buyer that you may be able to squeeze so you decide not to sell it for the agreed price.
Being a new poster here has nothing to do with what the price of the cue should be. There are times when someone will make a post about a cue being sold in a garage sale for $5 and it was worth over $5,000. Many will then post that they ought to hang that scum bag for cheating that seller. This is a different case. You did not "lose" that much money, but you sure lost your credibility.
I don't think that you will ever be able to sell anything here after this.
