I guess it is true, bit there is a huge problem with what you have said. If there was serious money in pool, USA would be right there (equal to, at the top, or slightly under the best).
As it all stands now, these competitions mean about as much as a college sewing contest.
On a more serious note, I personally would be suprised if the Mosconi Cup is still around in five or six years, given the sad state of American pool (judging by the many negative threads/posts here on AZB concerning this very subject
).What I CAN envision is a Cup between the European and Asian countries.

)People like you make me laugh...you beat a bunch of (in general) Snooker players in the early days who lacked knowledge of the game. As 9-ball has gained popularity the Europeans have got better and possess far better knowledge than earlier teams.
Europeans are more dedicated and play more as a team. Team America seem further apart than the sun and Pluto in my opinion! No visible team spirit.
As I recall we weren't exactly sending over our A team in the "early days" ;-)

That may be true, but I was once in the jungle in a village town in Honduras and there some people there shooting some really good pill pool. They had to crank a generator to have lights on the tables. I did not get to stay and watch them very long, but they were really good players.
They will just want me for my Kraft Dinner and Mad Max pool skills.
I have them womens figured out a long time ago.
Mosconi Cup - Americans vs Europeans
The Americans with their Ugly attitudes deserved to lose.
But the Ugly Americans or should I say Dragon Promotions or ABP don’t care.
The fix was in they got their money.
When we name our best Players and Captain to represent the USA and we install team spirit in them we will win.
Hopefully next year’s players respect their sponsors and spectators.
Then we will be yelling at the top of our lungs USA, USA.
Until next year, Congradulations to Team Europe for their win, attitude and behaviour.
