Is it just me, or is N10 getting more expensive by the day? I remember when you could get a gallon for less than 100 bucks.

Absolutely.
I get it in a 5 gallon bucket, and it is right at $300 now. Last year I think it was about $80 cheaper.

Depends on who you buy from, I just bought a 5gal can for $246, that breaks down to $49.20 a gal, and $12.30 a qt;)

Glue

I can remember when it was $17 a quart.... Now I'm paying a lot more.
Every time I turnaround it's gone up in price at least a dollar or more.

I hope whatever RKC is brewing is a lot lower cost!

I remember buying the #10 when it was green in color, not yellow, and in 1984 it was $42.00 per 5gal:D

I've seen 3M fast bond that was green in color and it was water based. It could be purchased in propane tank size containers.. Sprayed or brushed/roll application..
It was at a American building contractors "ABC" supplier.

OK, I called and it's wrong. It's the gal price if you buy a 5 gal can, meaning by the 5 gal can it works out to $249.50, or $49.90 per gal;)

I might do that Donny. It would go bad before I use 5 gallons. I have 20 Gold Crowns to do in Lancaster, Ca. This is alot cheaper than buying em by the quart.

289.66 shipped to my front door. Thanks for the link. Last week I ordered 4 quarts from Aircraft Spruce and it cost me $114.00. Huge savings going the 5 gal route.

When it thickens up, dilute it with some xylene and it'll work just like when it's new;)

Do you guys put the #10 on with a roller? I saw the Diamond felt install video and thats what they used. I tried a 2" roller but it was making a mess (it was probably me making the mess) so I ended up using an 1 1/2" wide foam "brush", it worked real nice. Im not an installer, this was on my own table and I did not want to install the felt but I could not find anyone near me that I trusted to do it. I checked out jobs that local installers had done and the tables were not covered very nice, I figured I could do just as ugly a job as they were doing and maybe a little better if I was lucky.

I buy 9in 3/16 nap rollers and cut them into 3 inch pieces. If the store is out of 3/16 I then buy 1/4 nap. Applying it is all about technique. I still remember the first time I glued cloth it turned into a mess. I used/wasted too much glue. I used 4 rollers and over a 1/2 quart of glue for one table. Well I just reworked that table in my local pool hall from 2 years ago and I was cussing myself up and down. Anyways took me about 3 hours to clean all that old glue. I laugh about it now.
