What was their reasoning? That you bring it upon yourself by being so thin skinned? That it's because you're a self proclaimed moderator that feels the need to tattle on anyone for the slightest things that an adult shouldn't be bothered by?

Joking or not, Purdman hit the nail on the head.

Not seeing how you "start crap or push people's buttons" is your problem. Like my comments above, everyone has told you the things that you do and yet you still don't get it. Until you do get it, you're going to have problems because you'll continue to do those things.

Ya see...I am offended by the quote zeeder made and this picture. I went to school with mentally disabled children and they do NOT deserve to be made fun of. This is EXACTLY my point. And the moderators tolerate this as well...geez!

Thanks, I really appreciate it as I usually have to pay extra for that...lol. I hope that you don't think I was using the word retarded in a negative connotation. I don't particularly agree with all the political correctness our society has adopted. When I say retarded I mean the following, from Mr. Webster:

slow or limited in intellectual or emotional development or academic progress

While the definition is preceeded by sometimes offensive I was refering to the fact that if you are arguing on the internet, and taking it seriously, then you are obviously limited in your emotional development!

I posted the definition of retarded just above this post. Since it is a fact that people who are underdeveloped intellectually and/or emotionally compete in the special olympics just the same as someone who takes an argument on the internet seriously, I don't see how it could possibly be offensive. It's just stating a fact. I suppose that there are indeed people who are offended by the truth, but they tend to be the same people who argue on the internet...lol.
 
And i will apoligize for the writing at the bottom of the pic that is on Shorty's quoted post. If you'll notice my edited post has the bottom cropped out as I did not see the profanity at first (And of course it got responded to 1 minute before my edited repost :(. And the pic was mainly mirroring zeeder's comment, only visually. I can't speak for zeeder, but it's main point was exactly what it reads. Nothing more. I didn't add any additional text to my post, negative, making fun of, or otherwise. If certain people choose to take something and run with it outside it's intended box and to where they feel like well...:rolleyes:

If any mentally challenged people were offended by my post then my sincerest apoligies!

LMAO!!! Marissa posted THIS EXACT SAME PIC not too terribly long ago and you didn't have a problem with it. As a matter of fact, I think you laughed about it. I'll go check to see if the thread is still there... I doubt it is, but I'll go look just the same. ;)

I don't like this picture of the kid running. You should never laugh at people trying their hardest. I think this kid has a bigger heart than most and probably deserves a great deal more of everyone's respect. All I can really say to you is that "God loves this kid as just as much as everyone else."

I don't understand why people get offended by the truth...lol. The truth is "mentally challenged" people are developmentally retarded, I am fat and Shorty is short. People shouldn't be offended by factual observations about themselves or others.

The original poster went back and edited the picture and posted a different link to it. Thus the quoted one is still pointing to the old link.

I had a cousin that was retarded. Before he could compete in the Special Olympics, to have a day where he felt atheletic and proud of himself... to have his photo taken while winning a race and then to have his face plastered all over The Net for a joke, he died.

I have enjoyed your previous posting and am squinting hard on this one to credit it as being posted in the spirit which you claim.
