Just in case everyone wasn't aware, today is national shoot the 9 ball in the corner pocket day. I figure I would share this golden nugget of info with my fellow AZers after reading the threads here on the main page the last few days. So... that being said you all have one goal today if you play pool. Shoot the 9 ball at least once in the mother ×÷€+% corner pocket! I don't give a +#!% if you are playing 9 ball, 8 ball, one pocket, or whatever game it is. At least once shoot the 9 in the corner and post here to confirm you did it. I have exactly $54 that I'm taking in league today to spend on music, league, beer, and a celebration shot for shooting the 9 in the corner because I love this game! Good luck today and shoot well, especially that 9 ball shot in the corner :)!

Have to babysit at the moment, but as soon as the wife gets back from the store - consider it done!
 
Bankroll: $46 after first pitcher has been purchased. I am on beer #2 and one grape bomb down that was purchased for me. So far playing 8 ball and had solids in the first few games so the goal has not been met quite ye. Stay tuned and gl!

Slammed it in the corner with lots of top right english, sending the cue on a celebration lap around the pool table.

Anyone who knows anything about pool knows the greatest 9ball player ever, Buddy Guy, said to avoid the corner pockets like the plague.

If you ain't playin' shape for the sides, then you might us well just hand over your cash.

Did I mention this game is awesome?? Just maybe we should take 2 seconds away from *****ing and whining to appreciate this game for what it is?? Just saying?! :D
 
I'm the only person I know that plays last pocket 9 ball. just like 8 ball last pocket. lol, try that out buddy, the game changes. see how many 9 balls you make in the corner. and this is silly, your chancres of making the 9 ball in a corner pocket are 4 to 2. try side pocket 9 ball. see how that works out for you.
 
Gambling a bit with my buddy, made the 9 in the corner, then snapped one off in the same corner on the break. The NBA jam announcer just came on and said, "He's heating up!!"
