Hi all,
i saw a picture once of a coker cue, and i loved it (in fact it was a picture of 10 cue's for sale some time ago). i never heard of this cuemaker, so i was wondering who this guy is.

how does his cue play?
how much do they cost average? 500, 1k, 2k? (basic model , with some points, 2 veneers, rings, (no special leather wraps, or ivory joints, etc)
Does he have a own website?
do u have some pictures of coker cues?

I've heard of him. Nothing but good things.

I checked ebay completed listings and one sold for $800, one in the $500 range. A few in the $300 and $400 range. 3 or 4 unsold.

Check em out to see what people think they are worth.

He's from Sacramento, California.

You can find nice cokers on eBay and elsewhere for under $1K for sure. Just google coker cue and you will see a bunch of links with photos.

Here's a link to one of the distributor's site with photos, prices and info

I've been playing with one for 2 years now, and haven't had TOO MUCH of a wandering eye.:D

Plays great, has nice ring work, shaft grain, etc. ... gets mistaken for a SW frequently, but I guess that's a strike against it for some people. Probably a bargain these days.

I hav a plain jane Coker That I bought used for
about 350 & it is a great hitting cue. I'm surprised
he's not more highly regarded.

hiya all,
thx for the information.

im not into buying one now, maybe later who knows, but i was just wondering who this guy was. Ive never heared of coker cue's, but the fiew ive seen are very nice and the price he ask's seems very fair for the quality.
so guess no one has something bad about them to say? good :)

who knows i might add a coker cue on my to buy list for in some time.

NOT EVEN GOING TO BUY ONE ?!?! GEESH!!!

:D silly solly power

if id wanted to buy one, i would have posted this in the Buying section :p this is just seeking info about a cue i never heared of , but that looks nice to me. I cant afford any TS, DP, etc so i like to get some info on some less known cuemakers.

dont feel used

Coker Cues is a family owned and operated business. Currently, Tom, his son Grady and his wife, Michi craft all cues. Occasionally, Tom accepts apprentices as well.

One bad thing

I have seen his cues and they seem okay and pretty decent value.

They are not highly sought after on secondary market.

Ken

ive always liked small business family things. If they accept aprentices and they would live in belgium id certainly would pay them a visit.

anyway, i like those cokers alot, and i hope there reputation will be groing in time, cuz they really look like a good buy for there value.
