I have come to really love the books and DVD'S
Tom wirth has made available

When I got these DVDs on running balls
I was worried that I wouldn't learn anything
I feared it was just watching Tom run nearly 20 straight racks from the break

At first I paid little attention
until i finally saw some of the basic ideas

I realized why I was so weak at the offensive side

You want to see how its done,by a former world beater
and pick up the ideas that could really give you insights

Buy everything Tom Has done

His book and DVDs are all super
Dean

I have his book and it's great, just wish I could execute some of the ideas as well as he does. I have really become a huge fan of 1P, just wish there were more players were I'm at now.

BobTfromIL,

Where can an individual purchase the T. Wirth dvd's?

I only have the book but believe he has a website perhaps someone has it or you can always do a search. If he has dvd's I'll probably pick them up after our move.

I will post his info later. Look at his Facebook page. search for OnePocket a game of Controlled Aggression. I swear by Tom. He renewed my love for pool.

Same here. I would enjoy a small circle of players that love to play and learn together. I’m having more fun that ever playing 1. I enjoy being in the company of serious players/students.

Tom has a thread in the For Sale section

Perhaps he will respond on here

you really should buy everything he has done

I'm moving to AZ, will be playing a lot of 1P. It's the game of choice in our local center.
Have played a couple of guys here who like the game but most of the players in this area prefer 7' tables and 8 ball and 9 ball.

Tom is playing in a tournament for the next few days. If you want to contact him I will PM his number to you. DO NOT CALL HIM. TEXT ONLY.

On my way to see Tom today. Heading up North for the onepocket.org tourney at California Billiards in Fremont, CA. A lot of good players will be there, but I hope to improve on my lackluster showing two months ago in Vegas. I know I'm playing better but I also know I'm currently lacking tourney experience. I plan to play more One Pocket events and see what I can do.

Eight n out, Jay!!!

NO MERCY.

We all do. The shots/situations illustrated are eye openers. Teaches us to look-think. Regardless of our levels we keep improving from Tom’s info.

i have watched 12 of the 18 run outs so far
obviously tom has pro level control and accuracy to make some of the shots he does but
his going thru his thought process as he runs a rack is very educational even if you dont have his skills
i have already picked up a few concepts that should help me do better () than
"one and done"...:embarrassed2:

BBB
you hit the nail on the head

i have no where near his skills but catching on to
a little of his thought process sets me on fire

i have never placed the blame for my shooting on
thought process before, but i feel like that is where
i can expect some improvement

i am glad to have the book and the DVds

Tom Wirth is a genius

did you see where Jay is getting withTom for personal
instruction

what does that tell you? Tom knows his stuff

Buy his Dvd ,you will thank me
