Tony Crosby Joins the Elite

I have been busy this weekend and just now realized that Tony Crosby earned a spot on the IPT.

Way to go Tony!!!!!

Richie Richeson came in third so he will get a paid entry to try again.

Yeah, I watched most of his matches and he looked like a pool-playing machine. After watching him warm up, I was so impressed with him, that told my partner he was my pick to win the whole tournament. Turns out, he didn't win it, but he did well enough to qualify (2nd). His technique and focus, to me, were clearly on a higher level than all of his competition (except maybe for Joyner). He also has an 8 ball break that is nothing short of awesome. His break closely resembles the break style of Johnny Archer. I think this young man will do better than expected in the main event. He is certainly a true professional-caliber player.
 
I would like to thank everyone for there support and comments over the last few months, I have recieved many emails and text messages from friends all over the world when I qualified.
I would also have to send out a big Congrats to Cliff Joyner on Kicking my Butt, He proved what a great player and guy he was by owning up to a foul at a very crucial time in the match.
I also have to congratulate Mr Cues for realy taking care of the players and running the event very well.

Hey Tony, congrats on winning your way into the Vegas event.

My friend Lance Salazar (you guys played in the UPA event in Vegas. He also qualified for the IPT by winning the SF qualifier) wanted to say congratulations to you also.

I told him you seemed like a nice guy from your posts and he said you played well and were a real class act.
 
Well done mate, not only does Tony have a great game he also has a memory like an elephant, he still remembers its my round from last September!

Are you going to be at the US. Open warm up in Cambridge again this year? You have to go.... it'll be our "anniversary" & we'll have to celebrate. :D

This yr there won't be any jealous people making an a$$ out of themselves and being rude to the people that I hang out with. ;)

Or whipping the whole crowd into a frenzy to support Earls comeback lol

If I go to US Open I will of course, but not sure yet, its probably going to be either US Open or 3 weeks partying and sitting on a beach in the Phillipines for the WPC - its a tough choice but the very fact that you'll be there AND its our anniversary makes it a tough choice! :D

Tahnks for backing me up there Timberley, Craig(The One) really does know how to spend someones money LOL,
I did have a great time there last year at the US open warm up and may consider going again this year.
