too tall...

hi all
'm not a giant by any means, but at 6 ft 2" and quite long arms, i grip the cue quite far back. In relaxed position with tip to cueball, my grip finishes at 58" exactly. So any cues with a wrap just feel wrong to use - the only kind of "standard" cue i could play with would be a sneaky with a very slim buttcap. readymade choices are very limited to say the least! Naturally that leads me to custom made cues, but as i like to try new things, resale of extra long cues is difficult, so i'm going with 30" shafts and regular 29" butts. How it will affect the cue.. i dont know :S

does anyone else have similar trouble in regards to their height or wingspan and what are your thoughts?

Mike Sigel is 6' 2", never new a "tall" pool player that played allot that 'didn't'
play the game well.

I'd put Mike about 5' 10" or so. Unless he's grown some in the last 10+ years.

Yeah, Sigel is a midget next to me and I'm only 6'1.
MULLY

Mother time has given me the 6'2" thinking I guess, but I'd be surprised if he wasn't 6' tall. I've always thought he had the perfect ht' for a pool player and a good reach on a 9' for 9-ball play, and Varner is another, tho shorter his arms are 'knuckle dragger' long "per Grady" and d' barber isn't too short either. I'm picking "D'Barber"...to win his singles division this year at the BCA. Show em how we can play. ;)
