After the SBE, I stopped by Grizzly in Muncy PA on the way back home.

I bought a drum sander that was on sale ........................

It came in a 220 lb box big enough to hide a body in. They loaded it into my car with a fork truck.

Be sure to show me what you do with the inlay machine.........

It was nice meeting you too..........

Will do! I still have your number ill send you some photos and ill post some up here as well.

The 4 times I have been past them, they have been closed.
Thanks for posting the pics of what it is like there.

very nice Kim. I'm wondering if the bear is for sale. That would make a nice water fountain.

3rd pic down. See the wooden tool chests.
Mine is the light colored one. Drawers are a little different.
I got it for $150. The guy needed money. I didn't feel like haggling over price.

For whatever reason, mine also has the mirror in the lid.

Huge show room. They would most likely kick me out for getting drool on the
floor.

So how did you get it out?

Or is it still in there?

:eek::grin-square:

Gary

P.S. Thanks for the pictures

Gheez 14 Cashiers! Either the store was previously used for something very very popular or wood working is much more popular down there than here in Montreal

Would love to have this kind of store up here!

Cheers

I had to get some help ....... the gross weight was 100kg and the net weight was 70kg. So about 66 lbs was the packaging. It was really well packed. The box was nailed and bolted.

LOL

Rabbit. I got the bottom roller cabinet with it too.
Otherwise it wouldn't have been a great deal.

Mine is not the German made one.

It is still very well made for being a knock off. I hadn't realized that
there were German made ones until after I got mine. I checked, but no.

I have the same sander, and it was shipped in the same type crate, very well packed. Great sander also at a really great price.

Yea.... on sale for $395.... it was $80 to ship so I was in the neighborhood and picked it up.

Grizzly tools have served me well. I bought a dust collector from them in the early 90's then a band saw, table saw and several stands. I don't know what their customer service is like since I have never had a problem with anything that I ever purchased from them.

I've had them send the incorrect part, allow me to keep said part, then send the correct one later, and was pleasent everytime I have had to call or email them. I wish my doctor's office could take lessions from them :D
