I also ordered a tool post and holders. have tried 3 times to get an upadate with no response. would like the items I ordered or a refund ASAP
 
Well, it looks like he has been banned, so Paypal claims are the way to go, unless you have his private contact info, and he does the right thing by everyone.

Update!
I contacted Preston through Facebook, and he replied straight away.
He provided me with a tracking number and a picture of the shipping reciept.
In this case, this is solely a case of very slow work from USPS and The Norwegian postal service.

I don`t live in the US, so I`m used to long waiting time, but I have been waiting from 10.10.16, so close to two months now.
I`ve send him a PM yesterday and one today and no answer.
It sucks that this happens and I can`t help, but to point out that for a person who shop online all the time and have been doing so for the last ten years. I have had 3 instances where I have been fooled/ripped off, all of them here on AZB.
is there a way to have a better system for identifying users and linking user name to their legal name, credit card etc. so it is a bigger threashold to step over if you register with the intent of freaud?

I think rule number 1 is always pay by goods and services. The seller does not get your shipping address without doing this and get a email address.

Between Cell Phones, Ipads etc a person can be reached at about any time. I think a 24 hour to 36 hour response is about make it or break it.

I don't like deals that factor quick time limits, its like a red flag that the person needs your money right away which in turn means they might not have it in their paypal account to give right back.

Paypal, he said he would refund right away after I called him out on not sending it for 2 weeks....He bought a USPS label, but it never left his house. Then he didn't refund me so I had to have paypal grab it. He is a Less than honest person, he had 2 units to sell but sold them to 4 people...at least.

There's a reason that Preston isn't on here answering. He can't post due to the moderators freezing him on here. I just spoke to Preston. He says that Paypal froze the money in the account until the matter has been investigated and settled. It wouldn't even do him any good to try to refund it there again. They wouldn't let it go through due to the claim being filed. There's no sense firing on him while he can't defend himself. I don't have a dog in this fight. I got my tool post from him. Yes - it was late. He did throw in a couple of extra tool holders for the tardiness. He says that he didn't sell the 2 tool posts 4 times though.

As my post #38 shows, the thread where he has done this before to others in the past. It's time Mr Preston Jeter learns that you can't keep screwing people here and keep getting away with it.
In this actual thread, he claimed to have 2 items for sale, 4 people responded and he took money from...do the math. He took my money, created a label 2 days later Priority Mail, I sent a pm after 6-7 days, no response, then 10 days after it supposedly shipped I sent another pm and posted here....no response but he kept logging in to the site...his profile showed it. He never responded until I opened a claim with Paypal THEN he responds with all kinds of excuses, Blaming his girlfriend, etc. and plays the victim and promises a refund that he didn't follow thru with. Paypal made the refund, but it seems he didn't have the money in the account for them to take, so it took longer for me to get my money back.
Hopefully The customers get their money back quickly and this all gets put to rest, and Hopefully he learns his lesson, but based on his past dealings...who knows.

Thieves with excuses. Who'd of thunk it? Never saw that movie before. Poor Preston.

I got a router from Forney before he stole my money so someone saying "hey I got a tool post" is no excuse. Either you keep your word or you do not. If you do not you are a liar and a thief no matter what you did another time.

This planet has a limited supply of air and water. Those unworthy of their share should have it removed.

JC, what I have learned in life is when a problem or misunderstanding happens with a well meaning seller, The first words out of their mouth is usually, I'm sorry, this, this, and that happened, and this is what I will do to take care of it, I'm so sorry...etc.. When a problem happens with a Shyster with ill intent, there are never any apologies, just excuses. In Preston's dealing with me and cbi1000, He NEVER said sorry, or offered an apology even in the pm's he sent me after I filed a claim, just a couple stupid excuses, then played the victim and tried to make it sound like I was just an Ungrateful, impatient person.
People with bad intentions never say or feel sorry, they just start making excuses and blame others.
In this AZ Forum, we don't have much protection, so when these types of things happen, we need to let it be known so others won't get screwed too, we need to self police and report guys like him.

Little update....

I sent the toolpost back to the seller, sent him an email, he said there was a small issue with the product and it has been fixed. Asked if i wanted the product back or refund. I said refund. That was a couple weeks back. I have followed up with 3 or 4 more emails....Nothing, no more replys from seller and no refund. Out $117 bucks.
 
Damn, so sorry to hear that. So much for him telling people on FB that we were the problem, not him. Glad he is banned. Karma is a *****, and someday she will smack him in the face.
I would try with paypal, but not sure if too much time has passed.

I even went about this nicely. I didn't talk trash about the guy or flip out on him. But this really does stink.
 
Finally heard back, says i'll get my refund this Friday. So that's something. I don't mind waiting, just want to be in the look of the plan. :smile:
