Tools/practice to get the perfect stroke??

I use snooker fundamentals when it comes to shooting. The idea of the line of aim is what you might want to look into. Snooker players make sure their back foot is on the line of aim and not only the foot but the cue, elbow, bridge also line up within the line of aim, so that when you approach the shot, everything should line into place.

I assume you have your own table. If you got some sidewalk chalk and some tape, you could set up a straight line from the side pockets and onto the floor and practice that. If you can, set up a mirror on the opposite side and see if you're lined up. Just some ideas for your consideration.

OK thanks guy, will take all of this in consideration...as soon as i get this ultimate monster stroke im looking for I'll let you know what worked haha

As far as gettig my stroke as staight as I can I use Bert Kinnister's mighty x drill at the beginning of every practice session. It pays dividends later in a match when you're left with that long straight shot. I shoot it so often it's nearly unmissable. BTW I have the same mantra as Neil -there are no easy shots. It's usually the easy ones that stop my runs so now I tell myself it's not an easy shot so I don't cut corners and get lazy.

I think the best thing you can do to get more power, is to get the slowest cloth in the world to practice on. Then you have to work very hard to make the big strokes work. Not just some of the shots, every single time you swing the cue it will take effort....This will help...

It takes crazy dedication, but from what I have seen, you have all tools you need.
