Funny Stuff

I know a top player that tells about his income from making donations to sperm banks. He claims he is making money hand over fist. Players are pounding out a living any way they can. They claim it actually builds up wrist muscles, strengthens fingers for making a solid bridge and breaks you of the habit some have in throwing their elbow out on the final swing. "Stroking to make cash" is what the hustlers call it. With much practice and professional coaching, you can become an ambidextrous shooter and never have to use a bridge.
This player told me he always makes a large deposit in the bank every Friday because of his job. “Yea, I carry a wad of money too and when I play pool, I don’t let people lowball me on a bet either.” It’s not as if you can let this kind of money slip right through your hands.”These are the players that you can find yourself in a sticky situation with in any game. Some will still ask for a spot.
I declined to shake his hand and I put my chalk back in my pocket after every shot.
Personally, I think some people are whacked out.

Dude you are not right, but that's some funny stuff! lmao!

You whacked this one out of the park! :lmao:

If you checked them out, you would probably find out, 90% of the women's tour, falls into this. It is a crying shame, they are forced to do this, because their sport wont support them. Its an old joke, what does a pool pro and a small pizza have in common.....................................Neither can feed a family of four.

This has been going on for a long time. Even way back, Irving crane sold cars, Babe Cranfield sold Muzak, Boston Shorty drove a cab, the only ones who could make a living, were in the top 10, and were being paid to do shows by Brunswick. Today, just about any pro, out of the top 25, is loading a truck on Monday morning, working the front desk at a pool hall, tending bar like Stevie Moore, or flippin burgers now. To me, this is a crime, these guys, should be making a million a year, they deserve it. Willie Hoppe was making a million a year back in the 20's, and every year, the money just kept getting smaller and smaller. :frown:
