Top 10 bar table players in your state

:killingme: Thanks, i'll take that as a no. I said screw the list. Not sayin i'm top ten on my road but i'll play you anytime. Let me know if anyone wants to stake you or Oz.

I saw Oz tonight. He says he has a backer, come on over and get some. I believe you have his phone #.

TENNESSEE

HENNESSEE is numuro uno

after that there are apprx 30 that could be 2 through 10 contingent on breaks, rolls, etc.

Bobby Pickle aint bad either.

Ray

Don't forget about Josh O'Neal...I heard he's a pretty strong BB player from Tenneseee...not quite as strong as Henny, but not far off either.

Don't forget about the big kid from just south of Nashville.......I think his name is Billy. If he wasn't so fargin' lazy he could make the top 10 I guess.;)

He has been known to play a little as long as it is less than a half hour drive from M'boro.

Yeah, Billy Young can play a little too. There are a few up there that play pretty stout.

Agree that there are a bunch of players that aren't very well known, but if you had to go with a top 10 for the Carolinas it would look like this (IMHO), no particular order.

- Shannon Daulton
- Larry Nevel
- Stevie Moore
- Earl Strickland
- Tony Watson
- Keith Bennett
- Brian White
- Josh Roberts
- Scott Rabon
- Adam Pendley

There are about 10 that could be listed at #11...they all play very similar speeds, and in a set of 11 or less, is very believable that they defeat some of the above names pretty handily. Scott Lewis, Greg Dix, Jaybird, Chew, Jared, Sammy...since Sparky doesn't live there anymore, to the best of my knowledge, I won't count him in. He would go in the top 10 list bumping either Adam Pendley or Josh Roberts. Just my $.02 of course..

Yeah that second string is strong,I watched Skibo pull 32 games on chew at a 100 a game,BB 9b. Skibo and Dix is a close game.Greg has said no need to play him.Scott L wants to play 10 or 8 b against Skibo.Said no 9b.I would have to ask jared but I don't think he likes the Skibo game.I think Jaybird is above everyone from Adam and Josh and everyone below that.I know he beats Dix and Skibo Just food 4 thought lol Scott Rabon above Jaybird . Barely

If I still lived in Fayetteville, I'd get you to pay to find out your assumptions in this entire paragraph. Skibo has beaten Chewy for years, thats common. Skibo wouldn't play Keith Bennett with the 8 and last 3 on a big table. Skibo is a bar table champion though for sure.

Couldn't remember Skibo's name. Yeah, he's right up there too. As far as him and Jared matching up, Jared is playing more golf right now than pool, so Skibo is definitely the favorite there. If Jared has been playing, I think it's a coin toss. Jared's break is monster tho. Josh only within the past few years has transitioned to the big track, but was a strong BB player previous. Jason Heyward is another one that hasn't been mentioned yet. Right there in that same group. Mike Staubs is another one people don't think of alot...

Ny

Of the area of Upstate New York I'm familiar with, here's a few of my favorites:

Dan Heidrich
Dave Grau
Ed Rosas Jr.
Lyn Wechsler
Jerry Crowe

Short list but, virtually no one from Buffalo or Syracuse travels to Rochester. Seems the Rochester players will go where the events are. Once past Syracuse, the only name I see connected with bar pool is Tom Acciavetti. There probably are more but I'm not be familiar with them.

I agree with them- I travel with Tom to vegas for Barbox also to that list I would add Dreidel and Mendez

They don't let him play in the tournaments in Minn. I only know part of the story. He plays real good still..................

He just played in the tournament at Treasure Island Casino this april or may. I have known Lee a long time he played team events with me a few times when he was younger. He said he wasn't playing many tournaments anymore. "Got a real job"

Chad

He also played at the shooting star as well..

And he played at our last event here in Fargo. Don't know whether he's coming up tomorrow, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him. There are a number of Minneapolis players confirmed at this point.

I heard Jason just beat henny in a match up . That is a big win for Jason .probably wont happen like that next time . Both tend to play hot or cold . Never know which one will show up . Jason needs to get into speed pool lol

That's great. I don't have his number but I can get in touch with someone who does. Won't be this weekend though, i'll be in Jackson trying to win my 3rd sizzler event this year. Will be in touch.

Not even any indiana guys in the thread yet. Though I'm guessing you could make up the list.

I will start it:

1.) George _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
2.) Brian _ _ _ _ _
3.) Brian _ _ _ _ _
4.)
5.)
6.)
7.)
8.)
9.)
10.)

(1) Buddy Hall
(2) Jesse Bowman
(3) Jamie Baraks
(4) Jon Kucharo
(5) Donnie Branson
(6) Bobby McGrath
(7) Jeff Sargent
(8) Ike Runnells

Bandy certainly worthy, but hav'nt seen him in 10 years at a tournament.
Richie or Tom likely need weight from all these guys.

The next few in the line-up play pretty damn strong as well.

Dunklin,Sergio,Judex,Josh Johnson,Larry Parks,Scott Cohen,Tom Mcklusky
and a quite a few others that are maybe only a ball below everyone mentioned.

and for illinois everybody seems to forget Jamey Bowman can play a little too.

Where would you guys put BJ in the Carolinas list? I've heard he plays pretty sporty on the bar box.
