It's all he said/she said that we can't confirm or deny. Who you believe is your choice. I think your stance in withholding judgment is respectable in light of the fact that you don't know either party and despite overwhelming forum sentiment for OMGWTF. And you're right?no one but cubc and OMGWTF know for certain what happened that evening.

But I'd like to throw this in for your consideration: in this thread, http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=86443&page=3, cubc accuses OMGWTF of fabricating the stories in her blog, essentially the events of her life. He basically calls her a fraud, publicly. This is a serious accusation to make against anyone much less a writer. I would want some sort of evidence, but as far as I can tell, cubc had none and not one person came forward to support his claim. However, several of us who do know OMGWTF in one capacity or another did come forward to defend her character. I don't know who those other people are personally or how well they know OMGWTF, but I've known OMGWTF for years and had been close enough to be privy to the happenings of her life?and we all, independently, attested to her integrity. I was somewhat pissed that someone would make such a specious claim about my friend having known so little about her and the life she lives. So ultimately, what kind of person makes such defamatory statements about another under such circumstances? What other lies might they be capable of?

TAP...TAP...Whether any of what he said was true or false, it was outrageous and indefensible for him to have posted in before the whole WORLD.

He deserves every flicker of flame he has received. And that's that.

When I searched the Member List, I noticed that cubc hasn't posted since May 16th. Soon this match will fade in our memories, and there will be a new fish to fry.

He did follow through and play the challenge match, to include posting up the monies. So he is a man of his word.

Personally, I don't like to see people get hammered on forums. For some, this is all fun and games. However, for others, it may be quite personal. He did lose a big chunk of change. If he never posts again, then I guess everyone will be happy and they can move on to the next target to flame.

You guys are misinterpreting what I (thought I) clearly stated. I agree, he deserves all the ribbing and trash talking he is getting now. I've already said that. All I said is that I am not going to pass any judgment on him. How is that so hard for anyone to swallow? I totally respect anyone else's right to judge them, especially if they know one of the parties involved. This sounds more like arguing for the sake of arguing...because I'm not arguing. :D Basically what I'm saying is...I agree with you! lol
