For my list, I did two things.
First, I took into consideration cue skills, shotmaking, knowledge of the games moves & strategies, heart, tournament showings and money matches.
Seconds, I would give each player 1 month to get in stroke. In other words, guys like Daulton who does not practice like he used to, I believe still has oodles of talent. But 1 month to get in stroke will not turn back the clock for greats like Grady, whose best days were the 1980's.
So, I came up with this list.....
1. Cliff Joyner
2. Shannon Daulton
3. Corey Deuel
4. Tony Chohan
5. Jeremy Jones
6. Scott Frost
7. Danny Harriman
8. John Schmidt
9. Gabe Owen
10. Allen Hopkins
The last three were hard for me. Also, Shawn Putnam, Billy Incardona & Jose Parica deserve recognition also. Billy, for his unbelieveable longevity and heart, Jose for the wealth of knowledge and Shawn, who has had consistantly good finishes at the DCC 1 pocket events.
These are fun to do, these lists.
