Oh and don't forget the world 10 ball ,, and easily the player of the yr bar none

Perhaps his performance for this particular year may put him in the #1 spot for Year 2015, but this list of the top 57 players on Earth is much more accurate as it spans racks played from 2006-2015 for all the players and calculates their win percentage in which case he is only #5.

And they are all lucky that Justin Bergman didn't show up this year :P

That's a crock of s@"t WTFC how someone played 9 yrs ago it's laughable it's even used in a rating system unless that's the only info on the player
Ya I'm sure Ko is worried about JB ,,,not !!!!

So you are saying to measure a rating accurately it can only be racks played in the past 12 months and all data prior to 12 months is purged?

It should most definately use a rolling average.

3 years sounds reasonable to give a large sample and accurate assessment of changing player dynamics.

Nice troll thread BTW.

Thats those guys sole mission in life - to ***** about Fargo rate. Just ignore them.

When THEY come up with something better.......nevermind, not gonna happen.

I'm sure it's weighted to the more present , but anything over couple yrs old is pretty worthless ,,,, I don't think there's are person on this site who believes KO is number 5
The problem with the system is unlike a racing form it does not give all the info it's basing it off of players score it doesn't tell you ,, things like Dennis had a complete melt down after a altercation about the magic rack ,, , or he missed his flight came late to his match with Begman on like 2 hrs sleep ,, the system misses these things all it knows is the score
It's a nice novelty but I would not bet my lunch using the ratings

I think you and others should just go to the website and actually read a little bit. It's pretty accurate.

Use your "system" and I'll use fargo rate - we can bet on every match for the US Open

So if my system and Fargo match than that is "no bet"?

If so, I will do this. We can bet on every match where I like the side Fargo says to bet against.

I wonder if alternate break skews the statistics by making matches closer. I'm guessing that a good part of the tournaments Ko plays in that are recorded by fargo are alternate break, where as a majority of the matches played in the US (and thus more applicable to Americans, Filipinos, and Europeans) are winners break.
